Abstinence Program

Who do the schools think they are fooling? No teenager isn't going to fool around with someone because suddenly they remember a health teacher a few years back told them not to do something. Sexual education is key to making sure that we are safe about things and making sure that we are properly prepared! The just say no antidrug program so obviously failed and now they are trying to cram as much drug information into our heads as possible. What makes them think just say no to sex is going to work?

Please, if you disagree, post a comment with your views because if you could get me to see the other side of my argument, then first period might just suck alittle less for me

Sex education is pretty retarded, maybe it's only good for introducing some terms and showing how sex works to kids that don't know anything about sex, but other than that all you need is the internet rather than all the brainwashing bs school shoves down your throat.

when they tell you not to have sex (then tell you where to buy condoms) its not because they think anyone is going to seriously listen to them, but they do it for theyre own sake.
like 'well, we tried. we told them not to and we warned them, so no one can point the finger at us when they get pregnate.'

I remember the sex-ed teacher telling absolute lies to us. Not only did she tell us that condoms didn't protect against AIDS at all, she told us you could get AIDS from tears. I wish I could go back and tell her how full of shit she was.

Just a warning, a lot of people on SS get pissy with Christians, because apparently the free expression rule only works here if you're expressing what everyone else is. Well, I guess you could say they're free to express their distaste for a certain subject, but it still manages to get on my nerves.

Anyway, yeah, a lot of these teachers do this because the state says it's their job. The way I see it, they're just making a living like everyone else. I may disagree with their profession, but oh well. "Abstinence" Isn't doing anything for anyone. Besides, teaching that SEX IS BAD YO, really makes a lot of people want to do it more. So they're only screwing themselves over. What they should be teaching is how NOT to get pregnant.

True, I mean, some teachers are just unnecessarily bitchy. But it's pretty easy to tell the "I'm doing this so I don't get fired" type from the "I do this because I R ALL POWERFUL MUWAHAHAHA" types.
And people will typically leave you alone about it if you leave them alone. (In other words, a fight will break out if you start preaching and telling everyone they're going to hell)

Ah sex ed, how I had fond memories of that class. It was the dumbest thing ever. But the strange thing was under all that "DONT HAV SEXX OR U GET AIDS AND PREGGERS UNTILL U R MARRYED AND FOLLOW ALL THE LAWS LOLOLOLTROLLFACE!" crap all I heard was "Okay kids, have at it as long as you have a condom!" Isn't the whole point of the class to stop kids from bumping uglies? I even heard that in the high school they even try to see which condom brand is the best. (And no, it does not involve endless fucking) Ah well, it doesn't matter. Tons of girls at that high school get pregnant anyways and anyone of those boys could be the father. Besides, abstinence never works anyways.

How can an anarchist be Christian? Isn't Christianity an inherently hierarchical religion? You submit to your priest or pastor, to the laws of the Bible, and to God. Whether or not God exists is irrelevant; you can't pledge obedience to any kind of "higher power" and call yourself an anarchist. That's not to say that Christians can't be a force for good in the areas of social changes (look at Martin Luther King Jr or Oscar Romero, for example), or that they can't work together with anarchists against common enemies, but they themselves are not anarchists.
