To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

I don't really hate anything about my life now. I used to have a really shitty home situation and I was very suicidal/self-destructive but I was able to break free from that a couple years ago. Also, I am a total optimist, when conflicts pop up I do everything in my power to conquer them.

Honestly, I love living. I love the earth and everything we get to experience on it. Of course, there are things in my life that aren't exactly desirable, but I'm working on fixing them and having fun in the process. Goingcrazy

What I hate the most about my life is where I live witch is a homeless shelter in highkand park, detroit. It fucking sucks ass! I also hate my fucking mother who broke outta jail and tried to kill me by tieing me to my bed and burning the fucking building! I hate her so much, before she went to jail, I would try to kill myself to get away from her, kill myself before she kills me, I thought. When I realized I would never be sucessful, I cut myself and put flameing matches against myself to cope. SHE IS AN ASSFACED JACKASS! Hey, it says open blog, so I can rant a little.

Other people who Im somehow responsible for without ever getting a choice to agree. Think Ayn Rand's objectivism here applying to me.

I understand I have to care for parents and family, and I do, but I seriously can not be bothered with ALL their problems when they seperated and cant do things individually. In the end, Im going to have to care more about my own future and life than theirs. Ill do what I can, but Im not sacrificing. A burden only slows you down and soon, you become a burden yourself to others.
