i kind of know that feel, bro. My 3rd hour Algebra 2 teacher is the only teacher that i legitamately think hates me.

By the way, don't put your head down during math class just because you don't want to take notes because the teacher doesn't give good notes, because if you do that then the teacher is probably going to think you're sleeping, no matter how much you move your head or keep your eyes open despite wanting to sleep because of their monotone voice that always puts you to sleep when they start a "lecture" (they're describing notes, so it can kind of be considered a lecture i suppose)

Being active in class aurally counts on the grades :( So I try to keep my eyes open and look at the teacher, however, I'm not often saying much. Since I started high school almost 2 months ago, I have fallen asleep a couple of times in class. :( I remember how weird it was the first time Not that I try to actually fall asleep

I fell asleep in math class close to the first day of skool and he didn't do anything...not until like the third time i fell asleep in class, that's when he told me to stop sleeping in class...then the very next time i fell asleep, when i woke up he was standing over me as the others were writing stuff down (but i swear they weren't just to stare at me...i'm in the front row just to get away from the annoying people) and was asking me why i kept falling asleep in class and blah blah blah and i just said i was tired (i really don't want to know how he'd react if i told him that his voice is great at putting me to sleep even when i don't feel like sleeping [because teachers love to be told what they are doing wrong to further your education you know] which i find kind of odd)

But today, i moved my head and had my eyes open and everything, just didn't copy down all the fucking problems he was giving us for examples for our notes (hardly ever any words though, it's like how if you go to college for math and it's always letters, but then one day you see a number) and when he got to the point where he gave us an example to do on our own, i didn't do it because i wasn't taking notes so i really didn't see the point. Well after a few seconds of him sitting down in his chair to wait for us to finish, i put my head down in my arm like i was gonna sleep, but then like 2 seconds later felt a breeze which meant i should probably keep my head up (if the teacher ever walks by you, you'll know what i mean) so i lifted it back up, eyes open and everything. Then basically as soon as i did that he proceeds to walk by me again and lifts up my calculator that was sitting next to me, i'm not gonna lay my arms/head on it, and so i turn my head a bit to locate the sound and i'm just left thinking "ummmm ok, what the fuck peckinpaugh?" He sits down after he does that, i think, and then like 1 second later stands in front of me which means that i should look up, which i do without lifting my head, then after like 2-3 seconds of silent staring, i figure he wants me to work on the example problem...so i move my math book to the side and pull out my notebook, not a fancy math notebook, just a notebook i've been using for any class that i need paper in, and as i'm flipping to a page he starts mumbling something about how i'm gonna get In School Suspension for sleeping in class or detention and i can't sleep in there so it doesn't matter, those were seriously the only words that i could clearly hear, then as he shuts up, thank god, and gets ready to back walk the 2 steps back to his desk, I lift my head up a bit, i wasn't copying down the problem while he was talking and instead was looking up at him (because teachers demand you look at them when they're speaking...if they aren't young/cool atleast) and i just say "i wasn't sleeping?" so his reply was simply "then take notes" in the kind of tone that made it seem like he wanted to yell it and then say some other things that he could lose his job for.

That was long, and I wrote it in a quick reply...but if you skipped to this part then just know that is was about my math teacher that demands respect but never did anything to deserve my respect so i will never respect him...EVAR!

P.S. I have him next semester but i'm gonna try n get that changed so that i have a better chance of passing my last year of algebra/math

I have someone managed to place my body behind other students, so if I fall asleep the teacher can't see me, because I'm almost like hidden behind everybody else I sit all the way back. Actually I read the whole post and I guess sleeping is good, however your teacher seemed to be some kind of nag. Not letting you alone :(. Some years ago I was working math with my father everyday for some months to improve my math, I don't do that anymore though. So each time we sat down to work I started yawning - a lot! Ridiculously a lot.

Sleeping is healthy. Does your teacher not know that. tap tap tap... hm...

The last day I was in the shit skill I decided to rebel. The teacher told me to stand up. I refused so he he kept on telling me I refused. The site manager slapped me on the head and dragged me out.

I'm on at school right now, and the laptop is angled in a rather precarious position towards the teacher. If I get caught then OH WELL the worst they can do it boot me off. They gave us laptops to use for typing up our Spanish essays and I finished about ten minutes in to class so now I'm just going to use what would be idle time catching up a little bit on SS, since the nude drawings I attempted to make aren't really satisfying me. I can't fucking wait to graduate high school and move on to college. Just a few more months left to sit through!
