To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Minecraft server is up
Lunatic has now given me control of his minecraft server and everything's up and running.
I have created a file with everything you need to play the game. If you don't have the game, then don't worry about it. I included EVERYTHING you need (; Be aware that you need industrialcraft installed to join the server. Following the instructions provided in the download will also install industrialcraft, so just follow those instructions and you're good to go.

i thought it was the 22nd? w/e, just 2 days...*15 seconds later* -dead from no minecraft-
Maybe you should just give us a modified .jar file, that seems like it would make it a hell of a lot easier because i tried to download IC and the version of Forge that i needed and it didn't work, and I used the Magic Launcher for this bc of the ease of modding and swapping .jars it gives you.

Everybody I've given my download to has gotten an error, and everybody has a different error. The server is down for now until I figure out an easier way. I will get it done as soon as I can.

modify a .jar then send that out then give us the IP then make sure the authentication is off then we game.

i would point you to the post i made some time ago about already having bought it, but it'd be a waste of time...i can't play on authenticated servers on my laptop (right now i don't think i can play on a server at all though) because my skool found a way to block that ability at home.
DoA doesn't want to spend (or has the money) 30 dollars on it, which is reasonable considering if you buy a game before you have a system to play it on you're kind of an idiot (i'm assuming he doesn't have a great computer to run minecraft from as well)
So please people, quit assuming that every person who plays on cracked server's is a pirate that doesn't want to spend 30 dollars on a game.

Coming from the guy who wants us to embrace anarchy. This is not a moral crime (or, very technically speaking, any crime at all) - we're simply accepting free information given to us by others.
I have money, but no way to spend it on anything PC-related. I'd need a Steam account or a credit card or something in order to buy the actual Minecraft game. I already have it for Xbox 360, so it isn't too much of a stretch to get a modded version of the game for PC without paying.

actually, it is a crime, it's just one that the FBI has trouble enforcing on pirates (copyright infringement since you are downloading a free version of the full game that costts 30 dollars)
I don't consider it a moral crime either, because I love free stuff and I love freedom of information.
