To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Well maybe these multiple people have something wrong with their computers and/or internet? I haven't had any problems... I can't troubleshoot something I can't reproduce...

My internet is fine though and it only happens in certain threads. I use firefox could it be an issue with firefox maybe?

No idea 'bout Firefox. I think zagix said he tried Chrome and had the same problem with that too. 
Then there was that odd person who posted on his thread saying that people from SD are just pretending to have problems posting for some reason (presumably lulz)... you wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you?

Some threads open up really slowly sometimes, but I'd imagine that's just a server hosting problem. It's hardly serious, and it does not in any way prevent me from posting.
I'm using Chrome, btw. Lol to all Firefox users.

Actually, yeah, sometimes things load slowly for me too. I always just assumed that was my internet being funky.
I use Opera as my main browser, but I have Firefox and Chrome and Iron as well for other purposes (those rare occasions I need a plugin to do something Opera doesn't do natively).

Yup, you finally caught us. Us SDer's were secretly conspiring against SS by making up fake errors to troll you guys. And we would have gotten away with it to if it weren't for you meddling kids.

Seriously though, I don't really know what the problem is. It can't just be SD posters because we banhammered Zagix a loooooooong time ago. I'm thinking it could be happening to all the old SSer's that were here before you temporarily shut the forums. I think its just a bug or something.

Maybe. But why isn't it happening to me then? ... I'm the admin... maybe only regular members get it? Based on join date? ... well, I did restore some posts to the DB a while back. Maybe that screwed something up? o_O
