To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

The social studies was like. "I don't mind if you're not interested. I'm not blaming you for not being interested. If you're not interested, be quiet".
Basically, I can daydream, and not listen as long as I'm quiet. FUCK YEAH.

Your teacher is smart, then - social studies is one of the subjects that anti-school arguments have the most leverage over, as the more courses you take in that field, the less you actually know about history. It truly is best not to pay attention, but rather try to locate some primary and secondary sources for yourself.

That sounds like the ideal teacher. So this means you can play video games in class withthe sound off. Thats what my english teacher let us do least year.

if your skool gives you a laptop then you can get minecraft on it and play that while hiding it from teachers and rats

I don't like to wake my spirit up for school, last time I did it shot me in the leg 5 times with his .38 caliber pistol...I learned after that though.

NO PHONES???? NO GAMES???? That must suck. We are allowed to bring phones, games, laptops, whatever. But our school has no wifi, so we have to steal it from a nearby mcdonnalds. We have to open the windows to get it though. But some teachers are trolls, and take the electronics and keep them for themselfs. It hasnt happend to me, but I have seen it happen.

Not all the school has internet.
as long as you've played online once then you don't need internet to play as long as you have the launcher...and if you don't have the launcher or internet, just load up minecraft.net at home and don't close the browser, this is like a 50/50 chance though that it'll work.
