Something stupid about my future graduation ceremony

I graduate high school next year.
However, because my school is so fucking small and graduating classes consist of like 10-15 people, everybody who graduates must present a speech during the ceremony. It's a requirement.

I don't know how long the speeches need to be or what they need to be about, but it's fucking stupid. I don't have a single thing to say. I want my damn diploma and I want to get the fuck out of there. I plan to leave the building as soon as the ceremony is over, I'm not gonna stand around and talk to any of my old teachers or old acquaintances about my future or whatever else.

Fuck, I hate graduation speeches. I DO NOT FUCKING CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY. And I know damn well that nobody cares about what I have to say either, with the exception of any family members that will be there. I hate graduation ceremonies. Why can't you just hand me my damn diploma and let me leave? Fuck sitting there and listening to a bunch of speeches, fuck watching my shitty guidance counselor stand there with a shit-eating grin on her face talk about how proud she is, and fuck that stupid "switch your tassels to the other side hurhurhurururu" shit.

If I can't get out of a speech, I'll make my speech about how ineffective compulsory schooling is and all that good shit.

Well, I like public speaking and would have used this to talk about how ineffective the school was, but I agree that it's completely idiotic to make it a requirement.

Just remember you'll probably never see any of them again. Also, note that in some schools, like mine, they don't actually give you your diploma there. It's a ceremonial diploma that's fake, and you have to go pick up the real thing like a month later at the school. Fucking bullshit. But anyways, fuck them, you'll never see them again. Don't be worried about "embarrassing" yourself. Talk about what you want to talk about.
