All of which have similar rights issues. The point is if America becomes totally devoid of rights and the ideology of democracy and freedom is abandoned, we'll loose the culture surrounding freedom and shit.

Yeah, and it's a HECK of a LOT easier to move to another state than it is to move to another country. You got immigration, the new law, language, etc. Etc. >.<
And then you have new people to deal with, who will probably treat you like shit because youre American! (especially if you go to a country where English is not the first language.)

Canada- Next to and ally with U.S. Although not that bad of an idea.

UK- Are you kidding me? Tiny country, shit loads of surveillance, very strong class hierarchy. Definitely not better than the U.S. in terms of freedom.

Australia- Don't know enough to say, but you could have something there. Although if you get in trouble, don't expect the Australian government to save you from the U.S. government.

France- Definitely tons of surveillance. It would be worse there if Sarcozy had gotten re-elected, but still. It's a U.S. ally, hooked up the the wider surveillance/legal grid.

Plus those are all G8 and NATO countries, fyi. I would suggest Mongolia, Guatemala, maybe Venezuela, Indonesia or Morocco.

France's new president isn't necessarily bad just cause he's socialist. Or at least, that doesn't really mean that France will be less or more free in the coming days. State socialists and state capitalists have about the same records on freedom.

Move to New Hampshire, its gonna be the capital of freedom in a few years, or Vermont, they're getting out very soon, the states gonna collapse, or just set up working government in your town, and have it run on consent democracy, challenge the main government, and declare laws, if enough people agree your council is the new government
