To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Well Met
I'm Vladimir. I joined because I'm on a quest to find intelligent life on Earth and this seemed to contain some (I'll investigate further). And I hate school and haven't gone (to school) in two years. Fuck the man!  Anyhow, my three main interests are music, "drugs" (psychopharmacology), and philosophy. My favourite philosopher as of right now is Nietzsche. And I am 15 years old.

Fascinating, it's as if when I started this thread it was just a simple caterpillar but it went through a sort of metamorphosis and became a butterfly. Magnificent.

Such as The Rolling Stones, Simon and Garfunkel, Janis Joplin, T.Rex, Sweet, Ebba Grön, Noice etc (a lot more, I have semi-big vinyl collection [app. 70 records] and I don't feel like mentioning all the bands I listen to). That sounds lovely. And I just stopped going.  Which is fun because here, where I live, you have the right to go to school until you are 16 (in other words, it's illegal to not go to school if you are under 16). I have gotten into a fair bit of trouble for it.

My parents are supposed to be fined because I don't go to school but for some reason that doesn't happen very quickly. I read about another guy in Sweden who stopped going to school, four years after he stopped going that's when his parents got a fine.

What's it like? Hmm... [RANT] well for one, it's filled with old senile teachers that just won't die. And the students, well, they probably have an average IQ of 57. And since I actually had an IQ above 80 my math teacher made me go around and help my mildly retarded classmates with their work. I still don't understand why she couldn't just let me move on and try harder math.
