This. Weed makes me happy god damnit. Why can't I smoke when other people can drink and smoke cigs? The fact that i can go to jail for doing something that harms no one and benefits me A LOT is a testament to how fucked we are as a society.

If you get more pleasure from drugs than you do from orgasm then you have serious issues. But that's not the purpose of this thread. The fact is that even if weed was legal in this country you wouldn't be allowed to smoke it by virtue of being under age. The minimum age for weed would probably be 21 alongside alcohol. And even though you have a great father and stepmother, there is still a chance that your mother can get her way and ship you off to military school. If you and your father were to be dragged into court today the first thing a judge would do is order a piss test. In which case you would be fucked.

There are still plenty of judges in the family court system who would be willing to put you in a disciplinary program just to send a message to other stoners.

If you want to minimize the chances of that you need to do two things.

1. Cut off contact with your mother
2. STOP SMOKING WEED. At least until your 18 so you can no longer threatened by her.

No. My mom's off this military school shit as soon as she realized she can't actually do it. As long as I stay at my dad's, I'll be fine. Plus I've smoked a lot in this last year or so, and I think it would take more than a few weeks for it to all get out of my system. Whether I smoke or quit smoking I would fail a drug test. But now my mom just says I have issues I need help with.

I thought that this was SS. Who the fuck cares whether his mother's an adult? That doesn't make her actions any more right, or not fucking hypocritical. I think, however, that smoking in the first place is a problem because Stadium's clearly addicted to it; however, it's his choice to believe whether weed is a problem or some magical substance that's completely benevolent and cures cancer, or that it makes him happier.
