To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

My "Reward" for Doing Good on a Test

So there's some math competition or some shit in the 7th grade and to figure out who would be in it, every kid in our grade was each given a math test. Even with calculators it was hard cuz I had no idea what the hell I was supposed to do!

Anyway, me and a lot of other kids made it and our teacher was all excited and said, "You guys get to take another math test in the library to see which will go to Round 3!" as if it were some goddamn treat.

All the kids who did well went down to the library and the bitch in charge said, "This is a timed test; 30 minutes, most of you wont finish the whole thing in time but that's alright." I was now pissed. Wth kinda reward was this? You do good on a test so they give you more tests? Fuck that.

My ADHD kicked in. Even with the adderall tests are just too boring for me. Sitting in a chair, cant move, cant talk, being forced to focus on things you don't care about is just too much. I start to fidget and procrastinate; my mind does anything it can to break free, but Mrs. Bitch would "correct" me every time I commited such a terrible offense.

I could've sworn the test was almost over but the teacher looked at the clock and said, "Fifteen minutes left." You've gotta be fucking kidding me. I fill in random answers on the rest of the test and yell out, "I'm done."

She came over, looked over my answers and back at me.
"You didn't double check your work."
"Yes I did."
"I was watching you the whole time."
"Clearly you weren't."
She gave me a pissed expression but took my test nonetheless.

After those fifteen minutes expired I walked back to the class I was at before. My teacher greets me with, "Since you were gone for the class, you have to do everything we did here for homework.

I do good on a test and my reward is another test, and this test is even worse since it counts for absolutely NOTHING, and I got extra homework. Whoop-dee-fucking-doo!
