Classmate is pissing me off.

She's not a bad kid, don't get me wrong. Its just that she seems like she can't do anything on her own. She's not super slow or seriously fucked up, but I do believe she is partially deaf, which can explain this, but nonetheless:

In computer class, every minute or so, she interrupts me because she doesn't know what the directions are (even when the teacher told the class or put on the computer), or she doesn't know how to spell a word. So I tell her how to spell the word or tell her the directions, but then a minute or two later, she's asking me the same fucking thing. And this goes on for the entire period and even the whole week. And she hardly asks the teacher for help. That right there frustrates the hell out of me. Ugh!

I'm failing a bunch of my assignments in computer class because I can never get any work done, mainly because she's always asking me how to do stuff. Like today for instance. Our teacher was out and the sub let us do whatever we wanted. I just wanted to listen to my music and type a story up, but I couldn't even do that because she kept interrupting me so I could help her fill out a job application (She pretty much wanted me to do the whole thing for her) and that took the entire class.

And my friend is the same way. While nothing is wrong with him, he likes to goof off and then expect me to fill him in on what we're supposed to be doing.

aha sometimes I goof off and then ask my friend for help, but it's okay when I do it since I help him when he goofs off too. So it's all good. As for the girl, just tell her you need to finish your work first, or help her do a bit and just continue the work and hopefully she'll ask the teacher. If she doesn't, ask the teacher to come and explain it to her because you're not good at explaining things.

Just move your seat. Easiest solution. Personally, if it were me, I would've done this a long time ago, or would have just become really short/rude with her. But yeah.. If you want to go down the painless, non-confrontational route, move your seat. If the teacher gives you shit about it, explain why.

If it's affecting your learning so profoundly that you're failing, then your teacher has an obligation to move your seat so you can focus and pass the class. The teacher also needs to address that student not paying attention or understanding what's going on. If the teacher doesn't move you, then go to the guidance counselor and explain the situation to them.

That's true, lol. It really is. But if you tell that to a teacher/guidance counselor, they won't have much sympathy for your issue. Better to just speak their language and say "learning" if it means the outcome will be to your advantage and you won't have to deal with someone in class who can't pay attention and do their own work.
