To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

What the hell is it about these shows? I can't put my finger on what's really so bad about them? They're all terrible in the same way... All the characters are, to quote Tawny from Even Stevens, "whoop whoop funny". I.e., vomit-inducing.
Like, ok, in Good Luck Charlie, they get detained by the owner of a store because the baby grabbed something off a shelf and the family almost walked out with the item. wtf wtwf wtefwtsfsfsafsdf
They're all like that. I think maybe it's the ridiculous scenarios combined with the unrealistic and unrelatable characters and the stupid sound effects and the stupid laugh track. IDK. Wat u think?

And that the characters are always happy for some reason. Most of the time, even when something is supposed to be really bad, they are mostly happy about it. (And when nothing is bad, they are even fucking happier.) And their schools are like college. They hang out there all the fucking time being happy and doing random shit that would never be able to happen in a school. And they all live in California. And shit.

I used to watch drake and Josh a lot. I'd probably still enjoy watching the older episodes for nostalgia...but looking past my bias the show is awful. The rest of those shows are even worse...long live spongebob and the angry beavers.

I definitely see that happening on Good Luck Charlie. I just thought that the actors were all so blown away by the stupidity of the script, it was all they could do not to burst into laughter.

Casey is the oldest girl and in fact the main character. Wikipedia says the show ended in 2009.

My impression of the show was that Casey was usually in the right, but was really whiney and bitchy about it. She always acted like she was "superior" and "mature". Derek was an asshole idiot, and used Casey's character flaws to justify his own horrible behaviour towards her.
I actually prefered the parts of the stories that focused on the other family members.

The last thing I remember watching on Disney was that Lilo and Stitch cartoon years ago, that was about it. Nothing on Nick or CN has really gotten my attention other than the upcoming show 'Legend of Korra' which at least looks like it might be a decent turn from the sea of shitty cartoons.
