These people act like it's impossible to learn anything without a formal education. Not like you learn anything within it anyway. This guy is asking of they know algebra or physics. I'd like to see what that faggot knows about physics and when he uses it during his daily job of being an asshat.
I've taken Biology, Physics and chemistry. Passed all the classes with A's and B's and still don't know jack shit about anything taught in the class. I've taken algebra and passed it but I couldn't do algebra if someone had a gun to my head. I don't know what slope intercept is or what imaginary numbers are even though I "Learned" all of that shit in Algebra II.
I'm no smarter than these kids with their out of the box "radical" parents.
If I really felt like it I could learn how to do math or how to figure out the number of valence electrons are in an isotope but I don't give a shit so I don't learn it.
History is what I'm interested in so it's what I'm really fucking good at in school. I've got straight A's in Government and American History.
I seriously want to reach through the screen and slug that guy's smug ass right in the god damn face.

When people use such arguments (replace power rangers with any leisurely activity) it shows that their view of learning is fucked. They see learning as a chore and that you have to force people to do it. Humans would have NEVER evolved to the point we are now if that was true.

Schooled kids want nothing to do with "learning" because they hate it. School makes learning horrible. So kids go home and play video games, watch tv, smoke weed, etc.

When you have an unschooled kid learning is fun to them! Yes they will still do leisurely activities but they will also love to learn!

My cousin used to love writing, she is beginning to hate it (the one I posted about who had so much homework). I taught her square routes she is in 2ND GRADE! She had fun with it and thought it was cool. Yeah wait until they rape her mind in high school.

I've been watching The Young Turks for over a year, I like them. Calling them Fox News for liberals is pretty silly though. They have a progressive bias, they know they have a progressive bias, they analyze news from a progressive viewpoint, they SAY that's what they do, and they do it. Fox News on the other hand keeps pushing "fair & balanced" when that is obviously not what they are. Everything has a fuckin' bias when you're discussing social issues. Bias isn't a bad thing if everyone is clear on what the bias is and you're able to keep that in mind when you're receiving someone's analysis on something.

I watch them mostly for entertainment. It's an online news show, they like to inform, but they're also there to entertain. They sometimes make dumb clips, it happens. You kids need to stop letting everything make you mad. Seriously.

That segment was kinda bad though. It's like posts from pro-schoolers on this website. Really typical. Ana has also made fun of people in the past for choosing "useless majors". Dude, your major doesn't matter... what matters to an employer is that you're able to stick with something such as going to school and taking responsibility and not quit or fuck up. College doesn't really prepare you for shit anyway unless you're in the sciences. Half of your classes have nothing to do with your job.

And being for-school like this contradicts how big TYTs are on civil liberties and personal freedom.

Ya see, this is why I really don't like their attitudes on school, because it's hypocritical in the first place. And they show their ignorance on the subject anyway, they need to stick to politics.

They criticize Republicans for claiming to love small government when they simultaneously love to enforce limits to personal freedom and answer to big money lobbyists, but now they're in favor of a system that I find the biggest infringement on human freedom in our society, and they're generically progressive on every issue, and love to stress civil liberties.

Why are those stances grouped like that? It would make more sense if one group were socialist, anti-freedom, and pro-school, and the other group were capitalist, pro-freedom, and anti-school.
