To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

My computer got broked.
It just randomly froze up for ever and then I turned it off with the stupid button, and then it wouldn't start up, it was like "ummm wat i boot from" or something, but it did start in safe mode, but can't use internet. now using the parent type person's computer. I guess I'm going to have to try to save all my stuff to a disk or something and then do "recovery" whatever.
The main point is, that's why I've been gone, and probably not going to be on for a while.

Oh wait, it's asking you to insert a bootable disk or something? Or is it asking for which hardware to boot from?
If the latter, just pick the HDD your OS is installed on which is usually the C or main drive

Your motherboard just got fried. Your computer is overheating way too much and its screwing with your motherboard. I know this because it happened to me... twice.
Some options: Send your laptop back to whoever made your it and hope they can fix it (If your still under warranty), send it to some tech shop and hope they can fix it (Hope you got $250 or more handy), try to fix it yourself (If you know what to do), or buy a new computer altogether. And if you don't have a laptop cooling fan, buy one now. It cools your laptop so it doesn't overheat as often and as intense as before.

This is why I hate summer. My PC is overheating like a bitch. I cleaned ALL the fucking dust and the temperature is the same. I open EVERY THING, every cm of dust gone. Temp = Same.
And I have the EXACT same PC full of dust and it's cooler than this one...
I'm gonna get a water cooling system nao!

I got 3 case fans, a CPU fan, GPU fan+heatsink
I don't think I need a fan, but maybe I'll need to apply some thermal paste.
But I've never done that before..eh.

Can you explain EVERYTHING it does? People are jumping to conclusions here, nothing wrong with that...well it is, wrong diagnose could be shit. Just show/tell us everything it does, best would be a video showing the display...then we can talk about helping you.

But it pisses me off because then I don't know what the problem is and if it happens in the future CANNOT FIX.
