At one point we had a chat. It was an IRC room and for a while everything was fine. Then kinsu sefam the fantastic furry faggot had to go and ruin everything. He made outrageous demands from soul who eventually gave in (like always) and he was given control of the chat. We all basicly laughed in his face and created a new one.

Itisi owned the irc to begin with. It NEVER belonged to soul even though she did recognize it as official. Sefam demanded she dictate behavior to itisi and she said no. that is what led to the creation of the second chat. after much bitching the link was made to redirect to sefams.

Okay then children gather round! Gather round! Little ones in front.

SS was once actually a peacefull place... or relativly so at least. Trolling was done in good fun and spirits if at all. All the members got along and saw eye to eye at least enough to get along and have laughs. FoN, ATX, RN, Darth, Cory... myself. We all knew how to take a joke. HoS prolly remembers. We would do things in chat like kick one another over petty shit. But it was always in fun and everyone knew that so it was all good. Many good nights were had. Certain people remember drunk Alucard. Yeah well thats were that originated. I remember getting both kicks and bans for acting drunk. Life was good.

Then Sefam showed up and his tiny fragile little ego couldnt take a kick or two in good fun and so he started to complain. And complain. And complain. What orginaly started as a petty feud on the IRC quickly spilled over into the forums. Sefam being a gigantic pussy who couldnt take a joke, chill out or logic ran to Soul like a kid with a skinned knee and cried just about as much. Soul initialy told him to chill out. But he kept at it. Soul then told him that she would have word with us (mostly every active member at that point was staff, either mods or admins) and the other members. Nothing came of it and we continued to act the same. Sefam then said that it was power abuse by the staff against its members. This then stemmed off in two ways. The Forum Power Abuse Debacle and the IRC war.

IRC War
Soul seeing the logic in this talked to all us and ITISI basicly replied with lol its my channel, its in my name, and I just let all of you use it, the behavior isnt the issue, it was that people couldnt take a joke anf that we will not kill the fun for everyone over one person. Soul saw the logic to that as well and told sefam to deal with it like a man. Rather than make an attempt to get along he created a new channel. He then bothered Soul until his server became the "official" channel. We all gave him the finger and continued to use the old one. Sefam couldnt handle that (again) and complained (again). His logic was that the only reason we wouldnt use his server is because it was owned by him. This was false. We had other reasons too, that was just the main one. Soul then got fed up, told us all to go to hell and created a channel herself and made it official. The redirect was then changed from Sefam's to Souls. To this day I dont know if that channel has been used let alone been kept registered. More bitching was had and Soul finally said fuck it and removed the chat link altogether.

I wouldn't call OPs banning people for no reason other than them not liking them a joke, Alucard. That is concrete abuse of power. OPs such as Maxh didn't just kick Kitsune, myself and others out, they would add them to the ban list. Therefore Kitsune had a completely legitimate reason to complain because his freedom of speech was violated on a chat that was touted as an extension of SS, which at the time went far to ensure free speech.

There is no real freedom of speech in such hierarchic structures like IRC, or even forums. Anyone with the right permissions can fuck things up.

In fact I am probably the most hatted member on this site, yet I dont feel the need to pester the administration with petty quibble. If anyone of us have a right to bitch its me. HoS, how old and long is the "We hate Alucard" bandwagon? When was the last time you saw me bitching about injustices and what not? nono, I had the original channel, #anti-school on Rizon. I registered that and it was in my name, but I was hardly ever online and didn't keep up with WTF was going on in there. Sefam was bitching because the ops in the channel who were there far more than I was, were kickbanning him or some shit. I didn't want people getting kickbanned just because they were universally disliked, so I did some stuff, I can't remember, de-opped everyone or something. Then itisi made another channel and then quite possibly the other stuff you said happened after that. I don't remember, I wasn't paying attention. xD
