The world is just getting worse and worse. School is used to measure intelligence. Do bad in school, you're almost destined to fail because the system is against you. How do people not see what's going on? Open your fucking eyes! I hate this stupid fucking country. Is the rest of the world any better? Somehow I doubt it, humanity is a doomed race, how the fuck are we so stupid? I can't even articulate the stupidity here...it's not individuals that are stupid, it's the herd mentality everyone seems to have...do what you're told, obey the system, I can't live my life the way I want to because it's not normal. FUCK NORMALITY, FUCK SOCIETY, fucking stupid motherfuckers look down on people like me because we're fucking smarter than they are and they don't even realize it...keep reading your fucking People magazine, keep doing what you're told, don't have your own opinion, you don't need it here. Fucking idiots, I hate everyone, I want everyone to die, none of us deserve to see the world because we're too idiotic to comprehend it. The worst part is that I'm just a narcissistic, antisocial teenager going through a phase to them. And for all I know, I am. Maybe one day I will read this, and the other things I wrote on this site, and say damn what an idiot I used to be, I was stupid for doing bad in school, for thinking I didn't have to obey the system and live life like all the rest of the fucking sheep.

Okay, that's the end of my rant I feel better now. I wish I could put my thoughts into words better so this would make more sense and sound better to you all, but I don't really care, this thread is for my benefit not yours.

I'm going through something like this right now. If I only put in one iota of effort in to school, in addition to not acting out in middle school to the point where I was suspended two entire years, then I would easily have gotten a free ride to one of the best universities in the state. This is supported by the fact that I've been getting scores in the 2000+ range on practice SATs. Instead my life remains a pile of crap and I'm busting my ass now at the age of seventeen just to get in to an average college. It's probably too late to even do that. My best option for going to a decent college now is transferring from the local community college. This would mean spending two more years living with my parents as a full time student, unless I happen to come in to a decent sum of money.

Your life though bro. Perhaps you'll find something your passionate about outside of school and will be able to make some cash off of it. The odds are against that though. Life in society is truly difficult for our kind. We are the outsiders, whose views on the world cause us to be ostracized by the herd. You will find very few people in real life who support your views. Make no mistake about it though, we are out there. You will find others like you if you look hard enough, and when you do stick together. There is strength in numbers. A solitary individual is no match for this cold world.

In the mean time remember that you always have School-Survival for support.

You know, even though I look at your posts and disagree a lot, I understand. I still don't think it is stupid to do bad in school. As I've got older (and when I was younger I probably would have called myself a brainwashed sheep) I've become more accepting of the world around me. I just try to make the most of it while I can and have a good time. You can say humans are doomed but hey, we're still going are we not? And there is a cold reality to it all. You may think you don't have to follow the system, but there are more people you will disagree with you than agree. And some of those people have guns. In my opinion humans aren't supposed to be perfect beings that have the capacity to get along. What you see before you now in society is just a result of thousands of years of history.

It's been done in the Netherlands. Home school is only allowed in very rare cases. Still, you have a fairly large selection of schools in the Netherlands which aren't state run penitentiaries or religious boot camps.
