To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Well, I'm considering writing another article for the site.
So... Yeah. Look, the other sections get fucking IGNORED here.
This is my subject. Psychologists. Two- almost three- years ago, I had to go to sessions with a couple counselors after that bullshit with Justin and the email. And you fuckers grossly messed up when you got the idea that they only want your money. And you guys blatantly throwing that out as a fact is utter bullshit, because you guys are way off. This article is in DEFENSE of psychologists and councilors, because you all have the completely wrong idea.
This whole thing spawned in my brain because I recommended that someone get some serious counseling from a third party a while back. And today? That person came and thanked me for it.
Let's get this straight: councilors are GOING to diagnose you with something. That's what you been shafted with them for, so someone can tell you something's wrong with you. It will, if it isn't actually serious, always, always, fucking ALWAYS. be "minor depression." And I'd like to go over why in this fucking thing.
These guys are not soul-sucking money thieves. They are not going to diagnose you just so they can get money out of your parents pockets, they're going to diagnose you with something because your PARENTS want there to be something wrong with you. It isn't you they're getting money from, it's your dumbass parents shelling out the cash so someone can tell you that you're depressed.
Every last one of my psychology sessions entailed me giving a "progress update" about how things are going on in my life. Yeah, the shit was pretty rough in my life, and these people- not MONSTERS- these people are people you can turn to talk to when the dumbasses in your lives will manage to misinterpret everything.
You don't even HAVE to tell them everything. And for you really stupid assholes out there, you don't have to show them your cuts. You don't even gotta MENTION you cut unless they want to bring it up.
If you can quantify the teenage rebellious phase, it gets easier to deal with. And with it being the modern age, anything can be quantified.
Draw the line at the drugs.

I'd like to see it too. It sounds cool, but lets face it, there monsters out there in every profession. So not all psychologists are monsters, there are some out there.
It'd be cool to see a defense of them for a change.
