To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

PS3, XBox 360, or Nintendo Revolution?

What do you think is the best? I personally think PS3 is the best. XBox 360 only has slightly better graphics. The price is tempting though. From what i heard, the Nintendo Revolution is the worst. The PS3 has excellent graphics, and has really good shooters coming out!

i'd vote PC if there was an option for it Razz

PC is better because it can play games and also do other stuff, like run progs and surf the net, and make websites, and ... stuff Smile

and it's a lot easier to mod your games Biggrin

(and its more expensive in the long run but oh well)

Xbox 360:Too early,If you ask me. Microsoft wanted to be the first, and probobly thought that they'll have no compitition. But they're also lifting all support of the original Xbox. In simpler terms=No more First Party games.

PS3:Batarang controller was a PROTOTYPE,everyone is getting riled up about it. But they should tweak the controller like they did with the PS1. As for the hardware,I think its better then the 360's,although the Killzone:Pre-rendered argument comes up.

Revolution:If they're gonna pull off the nunchuck controller, they've GOT to make sure it works 110% Always. It's tough to make somthing like this, with the motion sensor in a home console,as opposed to games like Time Crisis 2 (<3) and other lightgun games. The hardware isn't "Reolutionary" (Pun partially intended) , it really dosn't have anything that stands out in terms of graphical groups. The console design is pretty weird,too, I don't understand the blue,glowing line of neon light thats supposedly the disc drive.

FINAL VERDICT:None

Give it TIME people. When all the consoles have come out,compare.

the thing that turns me off on the ps3 is that the ps2 had crappy games for the most part, and the few good ones were usually available for xbox too.

what turns me off about the ps3 is that the ps2 had mostly crappy games, and the few good ones were also availabe on xbox. killzone was the only decent shooter that playstation ever had, and it was crap compared to most xbox and pc shooters.

I like the ps2 more than xbox and gamecube and all that. my friend got the xbox 360 and its awsome but i still think the ps3 will be better.
