To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

a fun class...for once

today, i had the best health class! the teacher gave us beer goggles that represent a blood-alcohol level of 1.07 or somethin like that. then we had to walk on a line in the middle of the room. it was so fuckin hard, but fun.

i think i might buy one of those beer goggles. ill put a video recorder at the bottom of my stairs, and record me tryin to walk down the stairs with them on. if its funny enough, i might post it on the internet, and ill put a link to it on this site.

well, fallin would be the point. i know its dangerious as hell, but thats why i would post it on the internet. ok. wouldnt you find it funny to see me crashing down the stairs?

and my health teacher told me she buys it out of a catalog. im goin to give her the money for it, and she would order it. i was savin up my money for a distortion switch for my guitar, but ill buy the goggles 1st.

lol, yeah we did that too, but they canceled health for me and gave me double PE Mad but that would be awesome, i think they may be expensive but you can probably rent them cheaper. have fun!

Once you're not seeing, your next sense is going to be feeling, and your natural equilibrium. Try it then.

they kill your vision, simulating what inebriation feels like. it would help a kid make an informed decision before drinking, so people whould have that experiance with the goggles. there's no point trying to stop it. i know htey can't kill your equilibrium, but it sort of feels like that, and it's the closest thing you can get to to it without actually being drunk.

ok fine back to the goggles. in my class we had some time left at the end of class and we all put them on and started falling and tripping around the room. one kid who tried them was on crutches while wearing them Laugh , it was really funny to see.
