RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017

The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.

If you want to write about your experiences in school, you can write on our blog.

To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

-SoulRiser

The forums are mostly read-only and are in a maintenance/testing phase, before being permanently archived. Please use this time to get the contact details of people you'd like to keep in touch with. My contact details are here.

Please do not make a mirror copy of the forums in their current state - things will still change, and some people have requested to be able to edit or delete some of their personal info.

malignant

the chorus of screams all came together as i walked down the backstreet content with what i had just done. I looked back to see the pool of blood, in some eyes, it would be of disgust, but to me, it was the greatest symphony i had ever seen. The church organs in the distance rang clear in my mind.

I had done the unthinkable once again. The sillhoette of a madman swept the street once again. Someone had just noticed what had happened, i quickly ran to my hideout, legs plowing, wet from the snow. they couldnt catch me, I was death, and i rained upon them like a plague of locusts.

I lied my tools down upon the table and took count. The bloody instruments had left stains upon the cloth i wraped them in. the contents within my mind laid toll against the poison hearted. the infedels shall pay dearly for the stupidity of mankind.

i delivered death to all those that deserved it. I sipped upon the collected tears of their kin. From the smutty sidewalks to the allyways, there was death, and I delivered it, whether it be to a man of high social class or a man of low esteem, i delivered it. The morale of the city sunk deeper than any ocean.

i walked out of the allyway, the stench of the dead bodies filling my lungs more and more with every breath. No one knew about that place, only me.

I walked across the cobblestone sreet into the tavern. I looked around for my next victim, there he was, walking into the storage room in the back.
I quickly followed behind and shut the door behing me. he turned around with a puzzled look on his face and i quikly swiped the scalpul across his throat, the blood splatting across my face. As he lay on the floor gasping for air, i plunged the scalple deep into his brain. i quickly walked out of the back exit into the dim allyway. As I was walking into the street, i heard the scream of a person that discovered the body, I was happy with what i had done.

my mind was malignant as my blade was sharp. i came to deliver the suffering to hundreds, and make them pay for doing what they did to me.
I cast across the night's sky like the sevils aura sweeping across the levils of hell. i am revenge, and i have come to deliver the pain of my soul to the ones that put it there.

A profound silence swept across the city the day i had completed my revenge. Society had put me into this isolation, never to show my face in public again, but little did they know that i was foever, and my soul was eternal.

This has been a test of the emergency pointless argument system. Had this been a real pointless argument, someone would have been called a facist.
Ceiling Cat: For that you need to wear a fursuit, though.
