Students in Texas school told to "rush attackers"

So, in Texas, students are being told that when a threatening person comes into the classroom (Possibly with a gun), they should not obey the attacker and "rush them".

Rush them? FUCKING RUSH THEM?! THEY'RE MOTHERFUCKING CHILDREN! RUSH THEM!?!?!?! THEY WILL BE KILLED!!! THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS!

I mean, fucking look at this! The teachers do jack shit, and say "Oh, it's okay if he has a fucking remington, just try to attack, we'll be hiding in the corner like spineless COWARDS!!!'

We all know that we hate crime. Im pretty sure everyone hates those group of jackasses with the intest of making an easy escape from their life and just steal their way into their retirement from other hard working people. Those thugs deserve nothing more than death. Sure, I wouldnt want my child to rush someone with a gun so I immideatley would disagree. Rushing into the face of danger for the sake of stopping a criminal is entirely up to personal prefrence and should not be encouraged to the masses. However i believe it should only be promoted to the people who are willing to go above and beyond to care for their community. Although if i had the oppourtunity to take a scumbag down I would take the first chance i got. For too long have i lived in a community with increasing crime.

If i see thugs robbing a bank while im driving a car. Im going to take a detour and run those shitheads over. I hate crime and injust. Iv'e lived with an increasing crime rate in the area i live in for the last 6 years for too long. Criminals need a wakeup call. However if i catch one in my house it will be his first and last wakeup call they will ever get...

if all those kids had guns themselves, then hell yeah they should fight back. but we're talking completely unarmed, untrained, defenseless kids being trained to basically go Kamikaze against kids with god knows what kind of weapons and nothing to lose. even if they did take the shooter down a hell of a lot of them would get killed in the process. bottom line: they want us to sacrifice ourselves doing their dirty work, and its bullshit.

And what would you like them to do? Sit in the corner with the lights off? If an intruder actually makes it into the classroom, that isn't going to do shit, you're still going to get shot. That's the thing, they're not being taught to rush the intruder. They're being taught to throw shit at him. You know how heavy some of your books are. How would you like it if 15-35 of those were aimed at your head? Along with the sharpened pencils, scissors, and the occasional desk, an intruder is going to be completely immobilized until police arrive. It's effective.

And as far as the hostage comment goes, how do you know the momment he walks in that he even wants hostages? And even if he does take hostages how do you know that he still isn't going to kill you? That guy in the Amish school took hostages then killed 4 of them. At least when you get up and attack first you have a good idea on the outcome. 30 to 1 is not good odds, even if you have a gun. If you sit down and do nothing and an attacker does come in, then you've just extinguished one of your two choices, and now your life is in his hands not yours.
