To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Now That's Just Stupid
First day back at school, and I'm now in year 11. For about an hour we were treated to those *lovely* speeches about how we are supposedly role models for everyone else and that if we fuck up now OUR LIVES ARE OVER!!! Nothing particularly unusual.
At my school, once you get in to the proper senior years (11&12) you no longer have to do sport and get to go home instead. However, this year they were apparently very close to forcing us to do sport because of something that happened the last time we were allowed to go home early (which was during the SC).
It was...members of the community (read; fuckwits) reporting us for truanting because we were in uniform.
Wtf?
So we've been told that we must all go home immediately after school; if we want to go anywhere after school, like the shops for example, we need to go home and get changed before doing so. I hate the uniform and change out of it ASAP anyway, but still...Why don't these members of the community have something better to do?

I always got the hell out of my uniform as fast as humanly possible.
Just like prisoners would GTFO of their jumpsuits as fast as humanly possible if they got out.
If I was gonna walk around after school, I'd friggin bring extra clothes 'cause I wouldn't want to be seen dead in public wearing some shitty ass uniform.
I find it strange that so many people don't seem to mind wearing that shit...

Really, after you've done it for 11 years, you really don't give a shit. Well at least, I don't anyway. If I'm just off to the shop I'll just slip a jacket on and some other footwear.

I think I'm still in shockfrom being told that if "if we get one more call about you truanting we'll have to stop you all from going home early"
Why? Because a bunch of people are reporting teenagers for wearing the shitty uniforms we are forceed to wear by the school?

Wear the uniform around town as normal cloths, possibly on a weekend or if your school has any days off that aren't holidays.
