We normally have 8 classes and we go to four each day and switch but I'am in a program where I go to school until 11:30 than I go to work (fuck that I'am going home) and all my work is on computer. that still does not make up the fact I have to rot in a shithole and I'am not getting paid for it.

I've got 8 total classes a year, 4 per semester.

This year, I have gym, biology, CP Algebra 1, CP Algebra 2 (have to take 2 algebras because I didn't exactly learn particularly well with the teacher I had for it last year), Latin, French 2, Honors English 2, and food tech. Sounds like a helluva fun year.

1st period-study hall(awesome for sleeping after playing videogames all night lol)
2nd period-computer literacy(sleep or watch videos HELL YA)
3rd period-Advanced Algebra and Trig(hard and teacher sux anus)
4th period-US History(easy as poo copy maps all day)
5th period-physics(annoying, pointless labs)
6th period-English 11(hard teacher-one of those stuck up young teachers who think they are all cool and shit)

So hear is me schedules. I get out on 4:30 normally, sometimes rarely 3:30 and then one class is missed, and then there are Fridays were i get out and 1:30 and i have either classes 1-4 or 5-8 and they each last an hour. i am in all top classes except for one class and one gym amd all hebrew classes i share with 7th graders. (damnit)

All of my classes last 45 minutes and lunch is around 40.

Get to school at 8. Davening starts at 8:10 and if we are lucky it will end around 8:50 but it can end at 9:10 (some days the davening is longer and sometimes they give awful BS speeches about religion) or on a really special day it can end LATE and almost a whole period is missed .

Then i have breakfast (their main payer Charles Kushner was in jail and he stopped paying hem so now it will just be a locker break and no cereals D<) until 9:15. (if davening is late the period is started later but end the same time)

first period: Hebrew Language... (not the top class, i suck in the language of hebrew) new teacher, if it isn't better than my old one (hard to believe) i will use a shotgun.. someway, somehow.

Second period: Gemara ...... nicest (not best) teacher ever.

Third Period: Math......(i cant help but say that with an accent) new teacher, and no way could she be more boring than last year's teacher.....

Fourth Period: Social Studies.... .... strict but i think i will enjoy it based on what i have heard....
(on wedensday's i have jewish history with the lower school principal... DAMNIT)

Fifth Period: Navi (prophets)....... this teacher is really nice and EASY, she lets me use a hebrew english Navi (gym on thursdays)

Sixth Period: ......she is HELL!!! she will only teach in hebrew, (fucked that way), she goes really fast, does a ton of extra commentaries, encourages questions and then says 'duh' when she answers them and tells people ' no, it's to easy, i will not answer that' , gives CRAPPY and HARD art projects (at leas she did when i had her for half a fucking day in fifth grade) ..... i am sooooooooooooo fucked.

Seventh Period: English.... on the first day of class she always syis, i am gay and i want you to be gay with me.... but she also puts on the board totalitarianism and asks around what that means..... (i had her in sixth) and no one knows so she says it is a dictatorship and i am the queen, empress and you are my workers ..... XD ..... (or something of the sort)..... but that's not how she runs the class... and she never sais it very seriously...she is hard but alot fun

Eight Period: Science... ...... I AM FUCKED!!!! THIS BITCH ALREADY HATES ME FROM PREVIOS YEARS.

1. in sixth grade i was always laughing by turning everything she said in my head perverted... 'the tectonic plates split and the lava flows through'..... HISTERICAL

2. This yea i was in a after school program fro gifted (not retarded, smart) kids and i hated it so much i acted horrible just to be forced out and was.

3. My friends were like banging on a locker one day and i was their so she thought we damaged it (we didn't, it was already waaaaaaaaay damaged) so we all went to the principals office and got yelled at... but nothing happened since they couldn't prove we damaged it

4. At the school trip she made us clean up all the popular kids mess and we were all 'that will teach them that there are consequences of their actions' (they are spoiled beyond belief) and she was all 'and you should learn that you have to respect teachers'. At the same trip someone called me to get directions on my cell phone which I wasn't allowed to bring there... (BS)... so she screamed at me for doing that and not one of the teachers would help me give the person directions cause of what she did, a kid who new the way helped her.

5. On the last day of school i was playing frisbee in the hall way and she caught us and she said 'give it to me' and i answered her back 'no' and that's why i was suspended on the last day of school.

She is a horrible teacher, only lectures and rants, and we have a REALLY hard project this year with her, we have to make like a miniature car and this is a great fucking way to end the day. (gym on Tuesdays)

When I went to orientation today, I got my new schedule (the one that has my locker number and combo on it.) My world geography teacher changed, and I know who my Spanish teacher is. An I also know when I have lunch. i have my lunch after 3rd block, which means technically I can leave then.

In High School, I am starting my third year. (Grade 11) unlike Elementary school (which, may sound odd, was a living hell High School is better) we don't have 8 subjects. We only have four. Well, in total we have eight, but we have 4 one part of the year, then second semester we have the other four. It makes things a lot easier.

Each class is I think 70 minutes long. We start at 8:30, and leave school at 2:30. Gah! I start on Tuesday!

My school works the exact same way as you Darkstripe, except we get out at 3:20. I personally get out at 4:30 because I took a co-op that requires me to stay a bit longer. Other than that I have Biology and Math in the morning and my co-op for two periods in the afternoon, awesome!

I have the same amount of classes as you, but we have this really stupid system with 8 different days that rotate. Essentially, each class meets during period A, B, C, D, E, F, G or H, and those periods rotate every day with one being left out each day. I'm told this is done because we think best in the morning and, therefore, we need to rotate the periods. The students get used to this schedule, but it still seems much more complicated than it needs to be. Oh, and some of the older teachers always need to ask what day it is or what period it is

I guess it is sort of smart, b/c in my school in 8th or 4th period unless you love teh teacher almost nothing gets done, and it is true soem kids think better in teh afternoon than morning (example: me).

I probably complain about it more than most people, but I don't think anyone really likes it. Of course, I don't pay much attention in class regardless of the period.

In my school we have six periods a day( subjects) in total thats 30 peirods a week, resulting in 120 lessons a month.
In a year thats 1560 lessons per week.
In the maximum legal four years thats 81120 lessons for the four years.
For the extra two years thats an extra 3120 lessons.
For the full six years at high school thats 84240 lessons.

Thats half our lives.

Work Based Learning I (Get to leave and go to work at our business.. pretty cushy, mom is my "boss")
