To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

wow first week of school and i already hate it
ok 1st of all i am a junior in high school and just finished my 1st week. i was kinda excited in the beginning because i thought this girl liked me from the summer but when i saw her she was of course hanging out with her pothead boyfriend. ya from there everything started to crumble. my parents took away my Xbox 360 and arent giving it back till May 31 (when school ends) and if u have one then u know there are like some great games coming out before then (bioshock,madden,halo3,GTAIV,Assassins Creed,Mass Effect,COD4,etc.) o ya they are also not giving me rides to the gym anymore. ya im 16 and dont even have my permit.i ride the bus with all freshmans and sophmores. because my parents are so annoyingly strict i like dont have any friends and during lunch i just sit in the bathroom by myself. im not a geek/nerd either(no offense if u r one) i should b on the basketball team (coach even asks me to try out) but my parents wouldnt let m try out cuz i got 3 B's on my report card. also i cant get my permit unless i get straight A's my 1st semester. my classes include some hard classes too like ADV ALGEBRA and Trig,Physics,and English 11(hard arse teacher). it just really pisses me off that all this stuff happens to me and not the bad kids. i dont smoke or drink or even go to wild parties and i have a 3.625 GPA. whats really annoying is that my parents think i say i hate school "just to be cool". ya im real cool as i sit by myself in the bathroom during lunch /sarcasm

2.u dont need to d=sit threre you can sit were u like unless the teachers/principal wont do anything if u get hurt sit werever you want.

1. Please space your sentences, it's easier on the eyes.
2. Wow, that sure sucks. Altho I do think eating in the bathroom is a good idea. At least you have some quiet and get to be away from the kids you hate!

Man, I'm sorry. Your parents are crazy  . You should definitely try to talk to them, and keep trying until they loosen up a bit.
I for one don't think eating in the bathroom is such a great idea. Ewwww, lol. Are you allowed to go outside and sit on the curb or something? That's what I did when my friends weren't at lunch.

I'd just start doing the exact opposite of what your parents want to do (although you should probably keep your grades up considering you've gotten this far, but don't be afraid to slack some more). Not like they can really do anything to you.

they can stop paying for your cell phone bill, they can disconect your internet....they can stop giving you allowance and doing nice things.
they can do alot.

Shudder. Man, that sucks. That makes me wonder what my high school willl be like my first week. And to the nerd/geek thing, none taken.

ya it does but only seniors r allowed to sit there.maybe when it gets cold though i might b able to. o ya to the guy who said eww to eating in the bathroom lol i dont eat in the stall and i go to the bathroom no1 uses. also i dont have a cellphone to cut off. i used to but my parents gave it to my little 7th grade sister cuz i got it caught with it in english class 10th grade year. yes i know it sux not to have my xbox when all these games r coming out. thats probably what im most pissed about cuz i barely played it during summer waiting for all those games. plus i had to waste my whole weekend going to this religious seminar and i gotta go next weekend too which kinda sux. it would be ok other than no1 my age goes except my cuzin whos my best friend but u cant talk during it so it doesnt matter. today i blew up on my mom about how i have no friends in school cuz how she kept me locked up my whole life and all i got was a ride to school sometimes for now on.
ya i wish i was homeschooled so i could finish school early plus my mom has a teaching degree anyway soooo..... but shes too lazy ya im glad i found this site

They don't even let us go outside. I used to go every day during lunch until they started watching me and had a guy waiting at my usual entrance. He thought I was smoking. It made me chuckle.
