To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

How Can I Explain Anti-School to my mom
Alright so my mom basically in my opinion hates SoulRiser for making this site =[
But i was wondering how i can explain forced education to my mom in deep detail, and WHY WE HATE COOL

I'd suggest taking a look at the "Pro-School Arguments" sticky, if you haven't already. there's a lot of useful information in that. Personally, one of my biggest problems with school is that it forces people into this false mindset that if you do well to school, it's a ticket to a perfect, happy life, and if you do poorly in school, it automatically means you'll live a failed, miserable life. This is probably mentioned somewhere on this site too.
Then there's the fact that everyone learns differently, yet our mentality is judged solely on how well or how badly we do on a test.
Keep flipping through the site. There's loads of good arguments here.

School wouldn't be a problem if parents would try something else. I can't tell from your post whether your mom has found this site yet. Either way, I would be afraid of talking about it because my parents are crazy like that.
I actually think the first sentence of this reply may be quite powerful. I made up that sentence just now, but I actually think that you may have a chance of getting out if you just start with that. (Maybe I should try telling my parents that some time.) Think through everything you say first though; don't just parrot what you're reading on the internet, and don't say you thought through everything when you really haven't.

My mother thinks this site is a negative place and that we plan school bombings.
But I sat down and told her that this place helps me and in a way I can confide in it.

I'm guessing your mom doesn't comprehend the difference between school and education. She probably thinks school IS education. Just a guess. People like that are very hard to reason with... :(

I tried everything to convince my parents. My mom just doesn't want to hear my arguments anymore and my dad is passive. He doesn't care either way
