I've got a few questions:
1. What does black mold look like?
2. Exactly how toxic is black mold?
3. How long to you have to be exposed to black mold to develop serious ailment?

My friend and I explored what is possibly the most dilapidated abandoned house we've ever been to. Wallpaper peeling off walls, floorboards warped from moisture, etc. and we noticed that the ceiling was covered in grey stains that look like black mold. Although we were in the house for a total of no more than three minutes, I think I may have developed black mold poisoning already, as I'm starting to develop headaches and shortness of breath. What am I supposed to do?

I haven't died, so that's a good thing. Hopefully there aren't any black mold spores on my shirt. My friend says that it looked more like mildew than black mold, but I'm not sure.

I should've taken pictures while I was there. It was the most abandoned house I've ever set foot inside. It was quite strange, too. It was obviously abandoned recently, but you couldn't tell. There were ADT stickers and garage door openers in the kitchen, meaning it was abandoned recently, but it was in such horrible condition that you would think it's been sitting there for decades. Honestly, we didn't even notice the house until we saw a narrow, overgrown path to the house that was once its driveway. In the living room, there was a beautiful mural of a picturesque Italian village, with only a bit of the paint peeling off. It was like something from a video game. The wallpaper was unfurled at the edges, the floorboards were warped, and there was debris everywhere. I'm not sure I'm going to go back, though, because I'm still afraid of black mold poisoning. Maybe later I'll take a few photos for you guys.

I'm going to be doing more urban exploration today. Because I'm awesome, I wrote these few equations that determine the safety of an urbex trip:

Overall Safety (F) = (log(S+x)^x)/2

Where S is equal to the safety factor of the exploration and x is the number of people on the exploration;

S = L(T/N)

Where L is equal to light intensity around the exploration site, measured in lux, T is equal to traffic density outside the perimeter of the house, measured in people per minute, and N is equal to the nearest occupied location near the exploration site, measured in meters.

So overall, the two equations can be condensed into:

F = (log(L(T/N)+x)^x)/2

Or, slightly simplified:

F = x*log(L(T/N)+x)/2
