To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Was this stupid of me?

A few days ago at school i was walking around and a teacher (just my luck that it was one of the ones who can hardly speak english) came up to me and one my my friends and said "eyeve bein washing yew teh entier tyhme! git tu clasz"and i was walking away i said under my breath "stalker..." scarcasticly then she flipped out and started yelling at me and i couldnt even tell what she was saying. then yesterday i was walking to class and i got stopped by the security guard the pricipal and like 3 teachers , i felt like i was being fucking jumped or something and the pricipal said "are you the one who called one of my teachers a stalker?" and at the time i forgot that i did and was like "no i diddnt" and then i rememberd and it turnes out they thought that i was threatining her somehow (i asked them to explain and all they did was yell at my about how violent i am) so i tried to explain to them that i was just being scarcastic and i diddnt even intend for her to hear it but they wouldnt listen and i ended up getting suspended for something i intended to be completly harmless.


Any thoughts?

That's fucking bullshit. I've seens countless occasions where a teacher has insulted a student, but GOD FORBID if we happen to say something back. Rolleyes

No you didn't do anything wrong. I call the teachers and security out their names all the time when they don't
treat me with respect. I called my math teacher a bitch and all I Got was a referal with dentension witch I skip anyway.

The situation is already pretty stupid if saying one word, regardless of what is or how you say it, causes a problem.

You didn't do anything wrong, its the paranoid fucking school that did something wrong, to suspend a kid for muttering a sarcastic word at a teacher, is fucking bullshit.

I don't think it helped you case first saying you didn't and then said you did later. Should have sticked with the no, no matter what. Now they think you're a liar and they might have given you a harder punishment.

HELL NO! It was stupid of THEM! I hate teachers who do that, last year I said "diarrhea" and the teacher sent me to another class. DIARRHEA! What the fuck is so bad about that word?

You didn't do anything wrong, it just so happens that you were saying what you thought. And teachers don't like it, because they were kept in cages they are the one's scared of a little competition. Thats what we worked out at my school.
