To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Hi..
I hate school, lol, I started hating school during my freshmen year, now in my sophomore year.
I hate getting up so early in the morning just go listen to a bunch of shit talkers and drama starters.
And I really, really, REALLY hate chemistry...ugh...lol
Where is that fucking duck?

Oh well, yeah, I'm very sleep deprived from waking up at 6 in the morning. I only get about 2-3 hours of sleep. And it takes me about an hour or to jsut t ofall asleep >.< (For the ave. person going to sleep takes about 6 minutes)

I like chemistry, though I haven't really done any of the work for it, but I actually have a good teacher for that class. Anyways, welcome to SS, I'm sure you'll fit in great. Just be sure to leave your sanity at the door.

Well it's not just chemistry, it's all forms of Science: Biology, Physics, etc. I hate everything about science and everyone who advocates it. Also the teacher is an ass.

Anywhoo, yeah, thanks for the greetings, I'm pretty sure i'll fit in just fine, I enjoy these kinds of forums.

Hi there, science hater guy... so do ya hate Einstein too? Cuz he was pretty cool, for a scientist. He even hated school too, and he hated the SCIENCE that school taught, because they made it boring and annoying.

Sometimes I hate science as well, but not always. I don't know why. Actually I do know why, but I can't think of the word that I mean. In any case I prefer math.

Look, one thing you have to learn here is, while we all hate school and the fact that they make the subjects boring and painful, it's still possible to like something. I'm not interested in science but I would certainly advocate it. So stop it with hating everybody who likes a certain thing.
