I wouldn't believe him even if he said water was wet, which he probably wouldn't seeing as water contributes to global warming somehow. Rolleyes

i totally agree hes not to be trusted, they orced us to watch his idiotic movie in school and i wanted to gauge my eyes out. it was a piece of false liberal propaganda. then we were forced to do environmental shit in school because of him, hes on my hitlist

Have you ever watched his global warming movie? It's half powerpoint presentation, half his fucking life story. There's one part where in between discussing the economic effects of his predictions, he interjects some totally irrelevant story about how he crashed his car while his father was growing tobacco.

The effects of global warming are overstated. However, it doesn't mean that we should immediately drop everything and abandon all industry. What it does mean is that we should come up with ways to protect the environment without fucking up industry and civilization.

we don't have to abandon industry, but what the corporations are doing is shortsighted and idiotic, pretending it's not happening so that when it eventually does get to the point where it's a big danger we'll be completely unprepared. all so that their company doesn't have to lose a few luxury cars to pay for environmentally friendly business policies until after they've retired. they're setting the planet up to fall for nothing but their own greed.
