stupid cafeteria rules

we have to wait for separate groups to be called by the principal. sometimes she would call us by shirt type; by table; by rows; even by gender (allowing girls to go first), which i successfully disobeyed with a part of the code of conduct article i found in my agenda stating that there is no discrimination on the basis of sex, and banned the principal from using that one . i would sometimes have to "blow my nose" before lunch because the lunch line is right by it.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, if they catch you playing gameboys during lunchtime, they take it away, just to "prevent it from getting stolen or lost" even worse, to get it back, your parents have to pick it up for you, is that worse than to risk losing the game?
EDIT 2: the "Ass"istant principal gave me a detention forwalking to the drinking fountain; apparently, I went during the last 5 minutes of lunch, and Big Brother doesnt like that. But, He also breaks his own rule AGAIN Same thing, Ladies, go first. I guess this is the reason for the no knifes rules .

I remember having to put up with that shit in junior high. We had to sit with our hands raised and wait to be dismissed. It was ridiculous because when I was in grade school, we didn't get dismissed, we just threw our lunch away and went back outside.

when i told her that what she did was bad, she said "this is just separating you kids, like choosing by clothes or something, but tomorrow, boys go first." this isn't what i wanted, it only furthers the damage

at my school they call us by homeroom and we have to sit with our homerooms.the boys and girls are seperated
the boys will eat while the girls are in the gym then we switch half way through lunch.i wish the boys weren't seperated
from the girls,cause u would really like to sit with my gf at lunch.

Sorting by gender should be just as controversial as separating by skin color. Why it isn't, I don't know. But what I do know is gender is actually more different than ethnicity.
