To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Hundreds of thousands expected to march, protest, riot in London. Workers, students, anarchists, anyone. Generally, people are fed up with the government.
I'm all for revolution, but Cairo and Libya are part of undeveloped third world countries. Britain isn't. I'm sure your government has shit that can dispel resistance in the blink of an eye.

Oh, I'm sure they'll bring out the riot shields, the beanbags, the new riot tanks with the mosquito like things on them, the tear gas, and all of that, but unless they are prepared to use deadly force (which would only cause armed revolt) I think the citizens have the ability to overthrow the government.
My problem with it is this:
K, so you start massive riots, which leads to armed revolt, which leads to revolution. Now what? You've got the pissed off citizens, and the anarchists and every other group fighting about what the new government, if any government, will be put in charge.
WAT DO?
Either way, I'll help out soon as I get the chance. I won't risk my life unless I'm confident that you won't just be replacing one fucked up government with another though.
Even if the government gets overthrown(Pardon my negativity but I doubt crazy unplanned, uncoordinated riots are gonna do it) the groups that worked together will just fight amongst themselves now on what kind of government they want and the old government will just come back or we will get worse(think deus ex).

Why not? It worked in Egypt and Tunisia. Hell, the entire rebel side in Libya right now is without a central leader, and they're holding their own against Gadaffi.
I think Buenaventura Durruti is a pretty cool guy. eh kills fascists and doesnt afraid of ruins. The quickest way to kill a revolution is to wait for it.
All you have to do is look at northern Africa and the Middle East to realize that freedom and democracy are spreading faster than pubic lice at a Motel 6.

Romania went through what Egypt is sustaining right now, in 1989. It was a good thing, rationally, but now they will be incredibly open to harm and will be the butt of all other countries. People will leech off the country like fucking vampires, and times will be rough.

Maybe your right.
The government can be overthrown but what I should of said was its not safe to say what will be during the aftermath.
Still I wouldn't mind ours falling as the government isn't doing what its suppose to do anymore anyway.

It will pretty much be inevitable. Will start out as a peaceful march. Police will try to kettle people into one spot. Fuck them. It happens every time, this time we won't be led by police, we will walk where we want.
On the last major protest they got around the police and sorrounded them. A number of police got the shit beaten out of them that day.
Its dissapointing because supposedly this took 4+ months to organize.

Surprise surprise, the government after "listening" to the protests isn't going to change anything. Cut more and more Cameron. Take more of our slave earned money for something that was yours and your banker friends fault. Look where your tax is going, people, to the bankers bonuses and the police force that is protecting the people government. It is literally screaming "we don't give a fuck about you".
The peaceful protesters complained about the "disgusting" behavior of the "anarchist vandals". This incident proves that peaceful protesting does not work because the government can sit in his office and look out of his window and laugh to himself and then outright say "I'm not going to change anything".
Wake the fuck up Britain. David Cameron doesn't care about us. Maybe if we had 500,000 people rioting and trying to storm the government, we would have actually got somewhere.
Peaceful protesting changes nothing, with shit like this you need force to affect some kind of change.
