To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Being Abit More Specific
What's so bad about school?
Of course, our ultimate goal is to make school optional however I think will should start with something small and simple and tackle each part of the school system one by one.

I think the worst part is being looked down upon (by students or teachers), and being punished for stupid things like not doing homework, or talking quietly to a friend. Basically, being treated like you're less than human. But solving that problem is going to require a whole mindset change from a lot of people.... it's not something you can simply fix by changing a few rules. Making school optional would mean they'd have to be nicer, or less people would want to go, but that still wouldn't actually solve the root of the problem: lots of adults don't take young people seriously. I just came up with a weird theory for why that might be, but I need to think about it a bit more before I type it.

Let's see....
For one, school is mandatory, obviously. Being forced to go someplace against your will isn't going to please you, and the fact that the place is question happens to be a fairly boring, miserable place, your dissatisfaction is going to be compounded.
Secondly, the work. Oh, the bloody work. Nothing says "learning" like piling on stacks of busy work that supposedly help you, accelerate your education, blah blah blah. Bollocks that.
Thirdly, educators have a tendency to be close-minded, power-hungry thugs who don't give a damn about teaching, but do care about making our lives as miserable as possible, swamping us with relatively pointless work, and getting their paycheck.
Deal with those points, and maybe, just maybe, school will become more tolerable to deal with.
