To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Which leads me to the next point... I read these descriptions of the personalities, and bits and pieces of all of them apply to me, but the IN** ones do the most. It also depends on the description, some of them focus more on certain aspects than others do, so while a INT* something person might get a description that talks a lot about how their logic works, it doesn't say much about their feelings, which they do (most likely) also have. So everyone's actually a hybrid.

Even if it doesn't tell us something about people in particular (just in general), this is a pretty cool finding. IN*P types don't necessarily do well in formal educational environments. Okay, politicians... FIX IT! kthxbai

I think it depends though. I can be a nut about planning things before hand and stressing out about things to every detail...in my business/work life. Or I am a quiet INFP in my personal dealings and just sort of take it easy.

I sometimes have struggles with feeling and thought.
Feeling: "Yes. This feels so good."
Thought: "Dude, should we really be masturbating?"
Feeling: "Why not?"
Thought: "We are due in church in an hour."
Feeling: "Good point."
I'd say Feeling usually wins on the most part, but Thought can win if it has a bit of a more valid argument. I'd say I'm pretty split down the middle, with a leaning toward Feeling.
I wonder if that's why I like philosophy, but would rather write poems about it than a thesis.

Yeah I'm kinda like that too. I often get INTP on MBTI tests, but I think I'm more of a mix of INTJ and INFP. When I have more energy or I'm doing an exciting project I'm more INTJ... but absent that I'm more INFP. But I always get really high I and N scores.
The correlation between temperament and school dislike is a really interesting and important topic because it could provide a basis for explaining to politicians, teachers, parents, schools, etc. that a subset of students have a genuine difference and reason that causes typical school to be horrible mismatch for them. Some of the IN** pattern on SS could be due to what types tend to participate in internet forums, but I'm sure there's a substantial actual correlation with disliking school.
A couple years ago I did looked pretty hard for academic research on temperament, student attitudes toward school, etc., and I've looked into it a bit since, but so little has been done...

Well, the first time I took the test I got INTJ. But then I accidentally x'd out of the results because I'm lame, so I retook the test and while I don't recall answering any questions differently, I got INFP this time...
So I'm both? I think the second would be more accurate, so here

Well, the TJ is the opposite of the FP part, and since both of yours are pretty low, it makes sense they'd be able to flip around every now and then.

I've gotten ISFJ and INFJ. Though ISFJ describes me perfectly, it leaves out a lot of things from INFJ and even INTP. I am extremely introverted, but only slightly sensing/intuitive, as for the others, they're moderately expressive.

I think they hold more bearing then an online personality quiz, but nothing taken over the internet can be that accurate.
I highly suggest Mobb Deep's albums The Infamous and Hell on Earth, if you have not listened to it yet.
