RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017

The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.

If you want to write about your experiences in school, you can write on our blog.

To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

-SoulRiser

The forums are mostly read-only and are in a maintenance/testing phase, before being permanently archived. Please use this time to get the contact details of people you'd like to keep in touch with. My contact details are here.

Please do not make a mirror copy of the forums in their current state - things will still change, and some people have requested to be able to edit or delete some of their personal info.

You do realize that the NWO is a bunch of over-hyped right wing bogus that came to be during/right before the Clinton presidency (I think, not 100% on that), which basically says National Guard training missions in small towns is preparation for socialist concentration camps, putting fluoride in water is a scheme for mind control, 9/11 was an inside job, and that the UN is trying to brainwash our children through the Declaration of the Rights of the Child or whatever it's called (which actually works against WWASP boot camps, if I remember correctly).

Re: Do you believe in any conspiracy theories

Oh wow. Speaking of the NWO theorists, I was listening to 99.5 FM radio one night, and on the program this woman (not even a caller-in but an actual guest) was ranting about how nicotine lets you think more clearly about stuff, and that the NWO had banned/regulated cigarettes in many countries as a way of confusing the people.

She went on for 20 minutes about how nicotine was the key to awareness!!11! and the NWO was on to us and was going to poison the drinking water...

And that's when I turned the radio off.

I dunno, but I know that quite a few NWO conspiracy nuts think it was.

Re: Do you believe in any conspiracy theories

The thing about conspiracies is that they are seldom created through actual meetings. People just have common interests and go along with what will suit them best.

For example:

The education system. I seriously doubt all of the corporations back in the 1800's got together to try to bring schools to america. (Although, a few wealthy government guys did, and that's actually not even debated. It's history.) When the factory owners figured out schooling may be an option, they decided it was a good idea and helped fund it and support it because it would help create obedient workers.

Also, check this video out:

Watch on YouTube

I pretty much agree with the guy. It's not like a bunch of guys got together and planned this shit out to happen the way it did. People just do what will benefit them the most, and this is what has come of it.

Re: Do you believe in any conspiracy theories

I never get how people get the idea that the wealthy or powerful are these intelligent masterful manipulators that can pull xanatos gambit out of their asses and manipulate everybody.

These people in powerful positions got lucky and they did obvious things to keep their positions.

Just like in medieval times with royalty and in Japan's feudal era with feudal lords who used their mercenary soldiers to bully farming villages into giving them food.

People have been taking advantage of situations and others for a long time and people have a long history of just dealing with it.

Re: Do you believe in any conspiracy theories

There are numerous documents illustrating how Rockefeller and certain banking elite lobey money for population control, false flag terror strikes, race wars drug wars. Financing foreign dictators. So even if the whole bloodlines, extradimensional warfare, and Occult Spirituality things are false. They are not guiltless. People who want them to be innocent are authority rectum lickers.

9/11 is non partisan conspiracy neither liberal nor conservative.
Theorists don't believe in the left or the right they are both financed by the same corporate interest.

let me put it this way, the NWO conspiracy theory has enough sense that i take a "better safe than sorry" approach. 9/11 has some serious arguments for it too.

NWO seems sorta legit.

But seriously, when you get into Government shit, they decide to pull sniper on you. And that's when just getting pissed off at the government gets ok. I keep my life and I have something to think about during lectures

If any theories about the NWO were true then the NWO would not let them get out. Basically we must assume that almost all grand conspiracies are false.

I believe Obama is the collection of oil the USA has stolen from Iraq. And the twin towers the whole spaghetti monster and hand to oil and war. But no profit will assume the position of the leading alien who take over the moon and world for glory of North Korea.

Re: Do you believe in any conspiracy theories

I'm sure the government keeps things secret from us, yes. But to argue about it without actual proof is pretty much fruitless.

One might want to focus on things we actually know about.

I thought I'd heard it all. I'd heard about fluoride in the water actually being there to poison us. But that nicotine being banned thing to confuse the people. Dang that one takes the crazy cake.

To be fair, there is government corruption and the elite don't really care about us. It's just, how well has government been able to keep their scandals secret?

Fluoride in water is harmful though. It belongs in toothpaste, nothing more. Swallowing it works against anger, that's also why they put it in some psychiatric medicines.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Do you believe in any conspiracy theories

No, I don't.

But there's been times where I've been tempted to believe something unlikely. When some of the facts are unknown, it's easy to assume the unknown part is something "crazy". I try to align my thinking to this scenario: if I heard hoofbeats, I would assume the creature making the sound was a horse rather than a unicorn.

The Shayateen.

Those among the Jinn who are hateful and jealous of the status Allah gave to Humans who whisper into the hearts of men inviting them towards evil.

The examples of the Prophets shows us what proper ethics and behaviors are, and so learning their stories helps us to contrast the right from the wrong.

Corruption is a seed whose fruit bears common characteristics to each other, therefore many conspiracy theories seem valid, but the real conspiracy is literally behind the scenes, operating in the world of the unseen. The most effective defense against what they do is to seek the pleasure of The One who created and STILL runs this world, Allah, by following the ways shown by the final prophet Muhammad (saws).

So yeah, the plausibility of all conspiracies comes from the evil they seek. The example of Yacoob (Jacob) was to seek refuge in Allah through prayer from the evil of conspirators, since you cant DO anything without proof anyway.

Do you believe in any conspiracy theories

Well, I believe in conniving politicians and corrupt media. Not hypothetically as much as observationally, though. Evil happens. People today have learned to persecute, hoard, deceive, and ignore sense from less civilized times, which have obscured the truth. It may not be completely conscious, but prejudice is a conspiracy, and it is everywhere. Government and media are no exceptions.
All you hear about how "rediculous" millennials are, or how Islam is supposedly hateful, or about illegal immigrants and their alleged filth? How the kid in the wheelchair is never the main character? And the news and debates that don't get televised? The conspiracy at work.
