To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Games you're looking forward to in 08,09, whenever
The next game I will definitely buy is Fable II, i loved the first one even though it didn't live up to what I expected, but this one should be awesome. It's comin out like October 21st I believe
I'm also lookin forward to Mirror's Edge, it's like a fusion of parkour with first person shooter elements. That's comin out in like late November. That's pretty much it for me for 2008.
Diablo III is my main game right now, but that probably won't be out for another year or two. The new Splinter Cell looks amazing, but that got pushed to sometime in '09.
Another game is Divinity 2, which is a sequel to one of my all time favorites, Divine Divinity, but I don't know anyone who has ever played that game.
There's a shitload of games coming out from now until December, but I only want maybe 2 or 3.
Which ones are you guys looking forward to?

I am looking forward to a shitload of games, however as we all know release dates are always pushed back. I also dont have alot of spending money so I know I wont even be able to get all these. Also, when the hell does the new Bioshock come out?

Yes, medal of honor series was pretty good save few games *cough*rising sun*cough*
They also did a good job on a few of the bond games. I dont assosiate all Westwood created games with EA though despite the sale to EA, so in a way C&C 3 is EA.

What? CnC 3 is GOOD? Stop smoking crack, seriously. o.O
I've only played Allied Assault, and it was nothing special. Imo Return to Castle Wolfstien is better.

Not as good as the westwood produced titles, but yes, it IS good. As for medal of honor the expantions made it far better than CW.
