RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017
The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.
If you want to write about your experiences in school, you can write on our blog.
To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Questioning you SS folks
I have retrieved a message from HoS about the fact that SS have trolled anti-sex sites and now I have questions.
1) Do you support reproduction?
My answer: I am against reproduction for the reason why people would want population control and not to mention we need balance and stabilization.
2)What's your position on sex?
My answer: As long as no reproducing risks are taken, it's acceptable.
3)Done sex and how you felt?
My answer: Never did, but I would definitely avoid reproducing.

Re: Questioning you SS folks
1. Don't see anything necessarily wrong with it, hell, it's the reason why our species is alive right now, but I agree that there should be some sort of limit on how many kids you can have (no more than 3, for example). Obviously there might be some exceptions to it, like if a person truly could support a 4th child well. Again, I do agree that we should at least make the heavily rising population problem known.
2. Have no qualms whatsoever with consensual sex, unless you're planning on having a child and either A: already have 2 or more or B: cannot adequately care for it.
3. Not yet.

Eh, I don't really care either way. I sure as hell don't want to physically spawn anything myself though. I think the only reason that the amount of people on the planet is a problem, is because we waste resources on "making money" instead of actually taking care of everyone.
Quote:2)What's your position on sex?
Nothing wrong with it in theory.
Quote:3)Done sex and how you felt?
Never tried it. Wouldn't do it with just anyone. Really picky.

I'm more prone to creating originals.
Quote:2)What's your position on sex?
Besides being tempted to say "the kneeling amazon", my position is positive, redundant, and quizzical....in that order
Quote:3)Done sex and how you felt?
I have had sex with a handful of people with a handful of different results....It can be methodical, painful, blissful, and even spiritual. Just like any other human process, like eating, or walking outside barefoot.

No. We have way too many people already. I could go into a long rant on this but I don't really feel like doing so.
Quote:2)What's your position on sex?
It's great, as long as you take measures not to reproduce. Any law against birth control (hey I was in Alabama last week, I know) is nuts.
Quote:3)Done sex and how you felt?
Yeah, one time, it was actually not bad. I'm not going into any more detail than that, you pervs.
Go to work. Send your kids to school. Follow fashion. Act normal. Walk on the pavement. Watch TV. Save for your old age. Obey the law. Repeat after me: "I am free."

Re: Questioning you SS folks
1. Not for me. I already made a whole post or thread on this, so I'm not getting to into it again, but I believe it's selfish and unethical to create an independent life just for some shallow sense of personal fulfillment. I don't really care if other people do, as long as they stop insisting that I hold their goddamn baby.
2. I'm not really sure yet.
3. Never done it.

1. i don't support it, and i don't go against it. It's a natural thing that supposed to happen. i myself want 3-4 kids.
2. Sex is fine
3. Been there done that. :/ It's amazing when you love the person. When you don't it's boring, or depressing...

Well, by the rate you're going, you'll probably have one before finishing high school.

Have you not read the vast majority of the posts you've made in VIYH and that one place in the past several months?

Re: Questioning you SS folks
I don't necessarily oppose reproduction because contrary to popular belief the world is not over populated. We produce enough food on this planet to feed upwards of 10 billion people and that number is just based on grain production. The world population will peak and start to decline before we reach that milestone. And with the development of new green energy sources we can continue our rate economic and technological growth while still preserving earths ecosystems.
That said, I 100% support adoption. And I plan on adopting two children for every one that I have naturally. So with that in mind I'll probably have six or seven children.
