There's a pecking order, and you don't get to the top without finding some way to control/intimidate others around you. Guys tend more towards the physical kind of intimidation (even if it's just a display of power and not actually beating kids up) and girls do the whole mean-girl, psychological manipulation thing.

Basically either you tread on other people, or they tread on you. Same reason that victims of abuse don't want an end to abuse, they just want to be the ones doing the abuse...even if they never act on this urge.

Yes it is. That doesn't make it right, but society says that what ever you have to do to acomplish your goals is fine, as long as it doesnt violate (often arbitrary) laws

Cool kids are usually the leaders of the posers. Always wearing the newest cleanest shoes, and up to date on the latest trends in music and fashion. They sport fauxhawks and always wear those corny Kanye West shades. They are liars, and seriously insecure. Most of them are psuedo-intellectuals who really have n clue what they are talking about, and fail to admit and realize how stupid they actually are.

Real cool kids don't give a shit, and pursue themselves not the latest fad. They usually end up hating authority and everybody Later dropping out and starting a band or some shit.

I always find it funny how society looks down on traits of sociopathy.

I never jumped on the societal hierarchy to begin with. You don't need some kind of status to get into a relationship either and if they decline you on that basis, they're not worth it in the first place.

Being "cool" is subjective. I think my friends are cool. I don't think all of the "popular" kids are cool, although I know a few who are. It's all based on opinions and individual tastes.
