To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

This class mutherfucking sucks. All you do is read boring bullshit you don't give a shit about and never going to need anyway and then answer a bunch of questions about it including a mutherfucking essay question, and I suck at essay questions. BAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW

Real history is important, don't let edufictated eduactionists ruin it for you. Ignore them, use your classtime for reading a good book or something...

History repeats itself if no one learns it, the Iraq War is almost a repeat of the Philippine–American War...

People think I'm crazy when I say that 100 years from now the Iraq War probably will not a be in the history books... but thats how history books work, you only see the parts that big-wig edu-fascists want you to see.

Real history can be interesting, right now I'm reading about Queen Marguerite trying to do a coup d'état against her husband King Henry (III of Navarre) (IV of France), real history is a ironic and entertaining story, NOT a job, like teachers think.

Ok, that was a little mean, but... yeah. You can learn everything from history. Ever hear that history repeats itself? Well, maybe if people actually knew their history it wouldn't. History gives you all the information you'll ever need about anything, even though you have to actually analyze it. But, I mean... give history some credit.

I know that world history and essays are important, but you should learn what you want and not what your so-called teachers prescribe for you. If you don't like world history, that's fine. If you like world history, that's fine too. I like some world history, but I prefer Chinese history. That's fine.

I don't think anyone would dislike anything if they were able to learn it the way THEY want. For example my math teacher reminds us almost each week that we have to do like SHE does, not like the books say, becaues her methods are "better and easier"...yea right, that why half of the class doesn't understand shit.

And about history, it's not that bad people think it is Razz. I mean if u hate WW1 and WW2 history which is boooooring you might like ancient history more Smile
