As you can tell from the title, a girl was raped today at my school, around 6th period, which is around 12 to 1.

It's horrible.

She was raped by a staircase, by the gym. RIGHT BY THE GYM. Seriously, all you do is take a step into the hall, and there is the staircase. And guess what? There were even classes in the gym. They didn't hear a thing.

How they found her was that a freshman girls gym class, they were in trouble because they were being lazy, so they had to go to the upper level of the gym, and they found the girl on the stairs, crying. She didn't have a shirt on, her pants were ripped and her underwear was gone. And the thing was, that when the class was heading to the stairs, the guy that raped her actually went running past them, and ran into one of my close friends. I heard he hid in the bathroom. I don't know if he was caught, I assume he was.

That's all that I really know.

They always say that we are safe at school, and that if anything happens they'll protect us and that we will be alright.

My school is known to be a bad school. We have gangs there, we have had fights, we've probably have had people bring drugs and knives to school, and a few years ago, before I went to my school, they even had a substitute teacher who sexually molested students.

How can we feel safe now? Now that a teenage girl has been raped and scarred for the rest of her fucking life, when people bring guns into their school and kill students and teachers, when teachers sexually molest students...how the FUCK can I feel safe?!

I can't. Simple as that.

UPDATE: I watched the news, and they said that he was only being accused of raping her, and that the police were looking at the surveillance videos to gather evidence, and that they aren't completely sure where it actually happened. He is currently being detained in a Juvenile Detention Center, and that he will be released sometime tomorrow.

(They don't actually say she was raped, but I was told by the people that found her that she was crying, clothing ripped, and that she was bleeding. So, either they were having very rough sex and she got upset and started crying, or he most likely raped her or some kind of sexual conduct)

Usually the school board is too dumb to see what the problem is and fix it properly.

I agree, it's horrible, I don't know how to comment much on this one.

Here's my advice: Get a gun illegally and/or always have a knife on you. If it's at the point where you can get raped, who cares if it's legal or not.

Fortunately, school rules do not trump government rules. If more people were aware of their constitutional rights I believe many more people would see the "education" system as the hellhole it really is.

There is no "usually forbids them". A federal law prohibits firearms on all public schools in the nation unless part of an instruction in class or by a cop.

Anyway, I don't know what would happen if somebody used a gun or a knife to stop the rapist. If they weren't charged for killing somebody but were charged for bringing it on campus or something. It all depends how fucktarded the court case would be. But in general lethal force is authorized in the case of rape.

i gota ask does ur school got cameras mine does even my middle school had them ive seen them record u usally cant tell who it is but they should still be able to notice whats happening

Yeah, we do have cameras, but I don't think they have them in the staircases, just in the hallways; but I don't really know for sure. And if we don't have cameras in the staircases, we are definitely getting them now...

True, you would probably get in as much trouble as the rapist. Unless, you go to a college/university that allows concealed firearms and you have a permit.

Well, we know who it is. I don't personally know him, but I have friends who had classes with him. And I don't know what she would tell the child, because I'm not her so I have no idea what she would say.

If you get caught with a knife at my school you'd get arrested or in deep trouble. I still carry one anyway. It's a Berber. Pretty nice knife and easy to conceal, never know when you might run into trouble

Nope, in our state of Illinois if you took a knife to school they would call in SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics, essentially cops with special ops training and military weaopns like M16s). Heck, some kid once brought a BB gun to show to a friend and they had a quarter of the Aurora Police force searching the school room to room and had SWAT snipers stationed around the exits within an hour.
