To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Wow...just wow. I saw this on the news just now and the mother was saying that those cops were "ruthless." I very much doubt they were concerned for the safety of the kids. Most cops aren't heros, they're overweight guys who like to throw their weight around. He's a 7-year old kid, not a 300-lb sumo wrestler, surely the cops didn't have to fucking HANDCUFF him.
Go to work. Send your kids to school. Follow fashion. Act normal. Walk on the pavement. Watch TV. Save for your old age. Obey the law. Repeat after me: "I am free."

Cops need to do what they are there for. You know. For catching real criminals. School officials need to stop relying on police to discipline for them. The police should be called only in the event of illegal behavior. Not a 7 year old being upset about something.

It's the school's fault. I don't blame the police.
If he hates school he shouldn't be there.
His mom is probably a crackhead and it's probably her fault the kid is retarded. They mention she's a single mom as if that doesn't go without saying. Yeah, I said it. You go try to deal with it if you don't agree.
Just because he's seven doesn't mean he can't bite, hit, or stab.
I don't blame the police because if the kid bit you or hurt you by kicking or hitting or stabbing and you had a quick jerk reaction and hit him or knocked him down that would be worse. They tried to restrain him under larger circumstances by keeping him in a school and then they were forced to either restrain him further or let a retarded 7 year old out in the city unsupervised. If they didn't restrain him with cuffs they would still have to hold him which may have been worse and more dangerous. If yall think it's so easy, try it. The point is, the school can't deal with this kid so they have no business forcing him to be there. And the other kids shouldn't be forced to witness this negativity either.
If you want to be a different fish, you've got to jump out of the school.

If there is something in the water, I'm immune to it and so are a few other people I know. Of course, I live on one of the most backwards places in the United States(Bible Belt), so stupid shit is rampant around here. From religious loons trying to tell me about their beliefs(thankfully, I'm fairly well versed in the Bible so I know the non sense they preach) to "patriots" who think being critical of anything the country does(unless it involves non-neocons) is being a traitor.

And now I know a story where the free Americans handcuffed a mentally retarded person (for being upset) and now he's wetting himself and other crap.

From what I've heard, tying or cuffing hands and feet is the typical way of dealing with "special ed" kids. A friend of mine had a mentally disabled foster brother who was basically tied to a chair every day at school "because" he was throwing tantrums. Of course the real reason is because he was a fucking crazy black kid! AAAAAHHH!!!!!
