RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017

The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.

If you want to write about your experiences in school, you can write on our blog.

To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

-SoulRiser

The forums are mostly read-only and are in a maintenance/testing phase, before being permanently archived. Please use this time to get the contact details of people you'd like to keep in touch with. My contact details are here.

Please do not make a mirror copy of the forums in their current state - things will still change, and some people have requested to be able to edit or delete some of their personal info.

Death of Evolution Theory

A long time ago 3,500 years ago in Mesopotamia there was a link in the writings and paintings to the 'heavenly host' They will be back to visit us again in a few year, in this version of the "Planet X" Theory. To mine gold to uphold their atmosphere. Using us as slaves, maybe as they did the Samarians?

Watch this video and see how the theory of Evolution is destroyed through findings in our mitochondria. Plus a bonus, Were we actually made by an advance civilization non human but not diety?

Re: Death of Evolution Theory

Why does it seem like everyones here loves being close-minded? If I give a theory its because I found it interesting not because I believe it.

Re: Death of Evolution Theory

Never believed in evolution.
Never believed in space aliens visiting us.

(However, if I had to pick one, space aliens looks more realistic Smile Sorry had to rub it in Smile)

Re: Death of Evolution Theory

Honestly, how would the Sumerians know more about the future than we do. Sure, they might of been very smart, but that doesn't mean that they were more advanced than we are.

Re: Death of Evolution Theory

they might have been. they didnt have anything to do back then except to explore the world. ans greaten their knowledge

life is just blah blah blah. we hope for blah, and sometimes we find it. but mostly its blah. and waiting for blah. and hoping you were right about the blahs you made. and when you think you just got the whole blah damn thing figured out, and your surrounded by the ones you blah. death shows up and blah blah blah.

Re: Death of Evolution Theory

Frankly, it would't surprise me if space aliens with advanced technology at some point came and influenced our planet in some way, either for fun or for science.

Planet X theories are bunk, though. The only planet X that might exist is too far away. Ever heard of the Kuiper Cliff? Its speculated that there's a BIG planet there, maybe the size of Mars or even earth.

Re: Death of Evolution Theory

Basically it plays on the old idea that God created the universe, and that this particular culture is the oldest and therefore most correct, and all other cultures simply mimicked them.

Paintings and monuments and such are not proofs of the existence of Gods. Catholicism may not be the one true religion, but they too raise monuments and write literature about their saints and holy people. So just because some culture did it first doesn't mean they did it right. Religion has to have started somehow, somewhere.

Gold.. I don't see why gold has so much importance to "gods" or aliens. Throughout ancient history and also modern times, gold has been a metal of much fascination, and mainly because a lot of people want a lot of it. The mining of gold for "Gods" could just as easily be used by a greedy emperor to make his peons believe they're serving a higher purpose.

Even if the Annunaki really depended on gold, you'd think that they would develop a more advanced system for survival since they last visited Earth.

The Mitochondrial mystery is yet to be solved: It doesn't mean others can take advantage of the absence of information to create a new belief.

Much of this theory is based on lack of knowledge. Just because we do not know why some of our chromosomes a fused does not mean it was made by a supernatural being, whether be it scientifically or out of the blue. It plays on the exact same idea that Christian fundamentalists have been using, however, as time goes by they slowly run out of explanations that were previously valid.

What I want to know the most about is why we need to justify our existence. We exist. It doesn't fucking matter where we came from.

I believe it's for science's sake, or for enlightenment's sake.

I'd personally like to know where we came from. I like gaining knowledge about stuff.

Have fun asking questions that can't be answered.
