RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017

The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.

If you want to write about your experiences in school, you can write on our blog.

To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

-SoulRiser

The forums are mostly read-only and are in a maintenance/testing phase, before being permanently archived. Please use this time to get the contact details of people you'd like to keep in touch with. My contact details are here.

Please do not make a mirror copy of the forums in their current state - things will still change, and some people have requested to be able to edit or delete some of their personal info.

Also, being anti - pedo on this forum is indeed controversial. Thank you, God, for not being among such people [pro - pedos] IRL.

being pedo is awwwright.

TRIGGER WARNING: THIS TRIGGER WARNING CONTAINS TRIGGER WARNINGS!

Dear Tumblrites: Despite your wrongly self-diagnosed PTSD, no line of scientific evidence suggests people can be triggered over the internet. Triggering works through the senses (i.e. smell, taste, touch, vision, hearing.) but it goes through real time; if you're not experiencing it in real life as it's ACTUALLY HAPPENING in your ACTUAL life, you CANNOT be triggered. The only exception to this is if you have a seizure, but then again, that's triggered by epilepsy (i.e. rapidly-changing flashing lights) NOT PTSD. Remembering a bad incident is NOT the same thing as having a flashback. When you remember, you think; when you flashback, you feel.

RE: What are some of your most controversial opinions?

bulgvar, you are scum. "Oh god thank pro pedo, put them all in prison..blabla...attention whoring...blabla..."

No, molesting children is not O.K. But not every pedo does that. Get that in your little brain, if there's place for it, and don't fucking throw everybody in the usual drawer like you normally do.
Do you think Desert Fox (who is obviously a furry xD ) fucks dogs? .... Well, it would be possible, but not probable. I think he doesn't. With your logic, he does.

Yes, but all child molesters are pedophiles. Or at least 98% => scum. Also, the idea of being attracted to children => scum.

lolbullshit. Pedophilia is an attraction for children, no more, no less. Just because someone has sex with a child doesn't make them a pedo. Same for molestation (which are by the way NOT the same thing)

Being attracted to someone shouldn't make you scum, and also, they can't control it and there is no treatment. Not like it matters because its not a disorder anyway.

If you found out you had a sexual preference for children, what would you do? Would you kill yourself because you are scum?

I'll try to be normal. If I don't manage to kill the pedophile in myself, yes, I would prefer to be locked instead of molesting a child.

RE: What are some of your most controversial opinions?

No. You don't have to kill YOURSELF if you can KILL the PEDOPHILE in yourself. If you can't, you have to be locked (look what I said - locked! That doesn't automatically means prison, can be madhouse, etc...)

Suicide is the worst option, since pedophiles will not suffer enough and it's bad to use self harm.

so now you're going BACK on what you said earlier, now apparenlty theres a third option! "killing the pedo in yourself!"

Like I said, its bullshit. You can't stop being a pedo, its engraved into your mind. Its like asking a person to stop being a human and start being a wolf.

That's the hardest option, since "you're born with that'.

So they must suffer, for their abomination of being attracted to the purest things on the Earth - children.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

My little cousin often grinds on pillows. She's only three. Pretty "pure" right there.

My seven year old cousins said she'd "fuck up her teacher"

I have more examples but they would fall upon deaf ears as you clearly have no intention of expanding your mind or you are just trolling.

lol no. I'll never go to any government orchestrated slaver camp shit. Prison/labor camps are slavery and should be abolished.

and I'm not disqusting, I'm actually rather charismatic.

Hidden stuff:

That's what you sound like Bulgvar. Just because someone is a pedo doesn't mean they're a horrible human being. It means that if they act on it, they're horrible, we can agree on that.
And just because we're defending them doesn't mean we're awful people either.

Freedom is never given; it is always taken. So for the fact that you're not a slave, don't thank those in authority. Thank someone with a "bad attitude."

Seeeeeriously, Bulgvar, doesn't your Christ want you to love? He consorted with the outcasts and disadvantaged, and condemned only the intolerant. It's not your place to condemn anyone, it's your God's. :3

RE: What are some of your most controversial opinions?

How come all religions long for peace and stuff, but churches start wars? 14th century Christians. Today Taliban. It's fanatics killing each other, because at some point somebody added "This shall be the only religion in the world" paragraph. It's stupid. On the other hand, it fights overpopulation of earth, so it's a good thing for those who don't die.

Yeah but it sucks ass if you're the one that dies...although if you die in a religious war we probably didn't need you anyway

No, this is Patrick.

Yeah, let's give one land to ALL the religious, the winner takes it all, then the world can care about the real problems. Then, nuke it.
