Come on, does that really make sense? WHY is it the setting for the violence? Why aren't there more grocery store shootings or library shootings or coffee shop shootings? Dude, use your head. They didn't all just throw darts at a map and choose school for the attack side by coincidence. There is something about school that is causing these massacres. No politics here; basic probability can confirm that for you.

Ok, I am really getting tired of having to repeat things. I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT GRADES. I don't mean that teachers sit back and do nothing when a kid is failing, what I mean is that they sit back and do nothing while kids are actually suffering. While they're being abused by their classmates. While they're getting drugged for ADHD because they talked in class. I'm talking about the things that matter, not just grades. They don't how many students go through hell as long as they can boot them out the door with a diploma so they can keep getting that sweet, sweet Federal funding.

Extrapolate? That was not an isolated incident, and it took years before it even got close to being "resolved." While students are in school they are expected to obey the staff, period. That's wrong. I can't think of any more ways to say this that I haven't already. Oh, and what if a kid's parents weren't so sympathetic? What if they thought strip searching was okay? I'll tell you what happens: the kid is screwed because they have no voice in the legal system without begging an adult for help.

No, they won't. I really can't elaborate on this, because it's just plain wrong. Hell, they don't even listen to adults who complain about bad teachers. The Teachers' Union has made it so hard to fire incompetant teachers with tenure that most schools just don't even bother.

Are they really so different? A lot of kids in those camps were sent there due to their behavior in school. To me, it seems like they're just two symptoms of the same disease. When any segment of the population is deprived of their voice in the political process, there will almost certainly be examples of power abuse. Public schools and the camps both fall under the umbrella of the youth rights issue.
