To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Now that the thread has been bumped, I'll share my story. So, I live in Ireland. And Ireland is a great example of when patriotism can be fucking horrible: we not only have to learn Irish in school(a language rarer and less useful than Latin), but we also have to learn Irish Sign Language. Nope, you cannot communicate with dead people in England, America, or fucking Ethiopia. Speaking of which, the school was running this fundraiser for a deaf school in Ethiopia. They set up this cafe with pizza, fries, donuts and shit; the food was about a buck apiece and the money went to the deaf school. But some fucking genius thought that the food should be cooked by the Home Ec. teacher(fair enough), the school chaplain, and some third year students. Long story short, everyone who supported deaf kids in Africa got diarrhea, a persistent stomach ache, and the lucky ones also got some projectile vomiting on the side. Funny thing is, everyone said the food actually tasted good.

So, the school ended up poisoning the entire student alumi in some attempt to support a deaf school in Ethiopia.
What the actual fuck. I'm gonna assume you didn't get any of the food and watched in terror.
I seem to recall the peanut butter outbreak back in 2008 was infecting kids at various different schools.

How is the food at your school?
I loose all my apatite in school so I usually have to settle for a banana and bottle of water for the whole seven hours I'm there. So I just watched in horror and listened to second hand reports. Some of the teachers got pretty sick too, but we were disappointed that none of them actually stayed home instead of working. It's either they need the money or hate us that much, because some came to class with pallid faces, almost like skeletons, and took frequent toilet breaks; basically, they looked like utter shit.

There is no food. Kids get their own boxed lunch from home. I think this applies across most of India.
Don't play chess with pigeons-they'll just knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut about like they won anyway.

I don't think some guy did it on purpose, I think it's because they all were lousy cooks. We had this six-week tryouts for every optional subject, it being first year and all, and the Home Ec teacher did not look qualified to serve martinis in the dingiest bar in town.
There is the other side of the argument, too: during the Home Economics try-outs, we were cooking this lunch for parents who wanted to come in for tea or coffee. This one chick tasked with boiling water for the drinks had an ingenious idea, add soap to the fucking water. Thank Jesus the teacher caught her, or we'd all have been drinking lilac-flavored, bubbly coffee. So, yes, someone could have spiked the food.

I dont sometimes I wonder if the cook or who ever prepare the food is always having a off day?
Or he just want to see the grim faces we produce when eating the food.

even crappy pizza is still pretty good. we had that like rectangular pizza that looked like a floppy pop-tart and had little dimples on the bottom like ritz crackers
