To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.
I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.
I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.
I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.
I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.
Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.
Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

Shin megami tensei digital devil saga
Anybody play this RPG its not really mainstream so most of my friends have not played it. The difficulty in this game is a little hard and sometimes it requires you to die to a boss so you can experiment to find a enemies weakness to beat them.

I've heard of it, and I think you're able to play as Dante.

I remember playing the first video game of this series on the Japanese super Nintendo at like 3:00 AM, and it really freaked me out for some reason, so I quit.

oh you are thinking of shin megami tensei nocturne. after you woop his ass he tries to play it off and join you.

I played Nocturne and after that, HAD to get my hands on DDS(not an easy feat, mind you! Good thing I work at a Gamestop and was able to search the countrywide database and found a copy only two towns away!).
I love all the Megaten games I've played. And I agree- playing the original Shin Megami Tensei WILL freak you out at 3 a.m. There's something about 1st-person dungeon-crawlers that is rather unnerving. Plus, the music is extremely creepy. Still love it, though! 
Is anybody planning on purchasing Persona 3, since it's part of the Megaten family?

I played nocturne right after playing digital devil saga 1 and 2 and even I have to say with its plots of challenging the true enemy (GOD), and dark themes nocturne had me hooked way more than digital devil And it had a nice game over just look at my sig.
P.s I even have digital devil and nocturne tracks on my mp3

Yeah, but I always get pissed when I get a "game over". Ah, that's right. For some reason, I thought that quote was from Shadow Hearts.
I do like the whole "challenging god" theme. Have you played Xenogears? The god-killing theme is even more prevelant there.
I haven't even gotten around to listening to the soundtrack for Nocturne. I guess I'm more into soundtracks like for Final Fantasy, and Xenosaga.

Hmm I played shadow hearts 1,2 and 3 (my picture kinda shows it). I played all the xenosaga games and I do have some of the tracks on my mp3. I played final fantasy and used to be a great fan of it (at least until final fantasy 12 that piece of crap). You heard of bluelaguna.net or gh.ffshrine.org. Bluelaguna has Rpg songs,FMVs and all that good stuff and ffshrine has games such as nocturne and digital devil but has anime tracks too.
