RIP School Survival Forums
August 2001 - June 2017

The School Survival Forums are permanently retired. If you need help with quitting school, unsupportive parents or anything else, there is a list of resources on the Help Page.

If you want to write about your experiences in school, you can write on our blog.

To everyone who joined these forums at some point, and got discouraged by the negativity and left after a while (or even got literally scared off): I'm sorry.

I wasn't good enough at encouraging people to be kinder, and removing people who refuse to be kind. Encouraging people is hard, and removing people creates conflict, and I hate conflict... so that's why I wasn't better at it.

I was a very, very sensitive teen. The atmosphere of this forum as it is now, if it had existed in 1996, would probably have upset me far more than it would have helped.

I can handle quite a lot of negativity and even abuse now, but that isn't the point. I want to help people. I want to help the people who need it the most, and I want to help people like the 1996 version of me.

I'm still figuring out the best way to do that, but as it is now, these forums are doing more harm than good, and I can't keep running them.

Thank you to the few people who have tried to understand my point of view so far. I really, really appreciate you guys. You are beautiful people.

Everyone else: If after everything I've said so far, you still don't understand my motivations, I think it's unlikely that you will. We're just too different. Maybe someday in the future it might make sense, but until then, there's no point in arguing about it. I don't have the time or the energy for arguing anymore. I will focus my time and energy on people who support me, and those who need help.

-SoulRiser

The forums are mostly read-only and are in a maintenance/testing phase, before being permanently archived. Please use this time to get the contact details of people you'd like to keep in touch with. My contact details are here.

Please do not make a mirror copy of the forums in their current state - things will still change, and some people have requested to be able to edit or delete some of their personal info.

-Better sex ed, sex being non taboo and not being something to be ashamed of (So people will buy damn condoms!)

cool hypocrisy bro

"I heard a joke once. Man goes to doctor says "I'm terribly depressed". Doctor says "I know just what you should do. Poliacci the clown is in town, go see him, you'll be cheered right up." The man bursts into tears. "But Doctor, I am Poliacci." Funny joke. Roll on snare drum. Everyone laugh."

Re: What are some of your most controversial opinions?

I hate babies, and little children. The latter keep asking ANNOYING questions, I guess I'll leave parenting to others on this world.

I disapprove of alcohol, cigs, and mind state changing drugs EVEN AS A MEDICAMENT.
I take marijuana as an exception since I've never heard of any downsides to it if not abused Fu

I want to nuke 98% of all relationships for being fake and without love. Also, sex shouldn't be anywhere outside the remaining 2%.
I approve of keeping virginity until complete maturity in love. Also, no fucking sex with anyone else besides the one. EVER.
Everyone should as well try to avoid having more than one lover in life.
I think that being heartbroken cannot be healed. If it could, it wasn't even close to a loss. Proving my statement.
No, morons. It is possible to scar someone for the whole life this way. Even up to the point of never letting as much as a smile. So, consider who the fuck do you 'dump' before you make their life damaged beyond repair.

Divorces are bullshit. You shouldn't even be together in the first place if you're going to do that.

I think that a war, at least a local one is needed to bring down trust in authorities.

I'd rather trust one person that a herd of them, as Vatman said once too.

All of the sexuality and relationship research is bullshit. I don't see anything true ever proven with that.

I don't have a reason to live here so I want to die, and I would if I wasn't responsible for a certain person. I don't give a fuck how much of a loss would it be to others.

I think that men who act like apes don't even deserve the attention of any female. Let them struggle until they learn how to respect a lady. Cause it's their only chance at being happy in life.

Being male and looking good is not 'gay'. I don't see anything wrong about it, even to the point of blurring the line between the opposite sex.
Actually I'm damn jealous of 'traps'.

A single death is still a tragedy to someone. Don't take this lightly. It could be your lover coming next.

Combine it with a purity obsession + losing your only one cause of those things and you've got a good enough reason to press the red button.

What? Germany staged a coup (dressed some political prisoners in Polish army clothes, a SS unit "attacked" a German radio station. The prisoners were shot so it would look like the Poles tried to attack and failed). Then the Nazis invaded Poland from the west, and the USSR invaded Poland from the east. Later after that, Germany swept through the Ardennes forest and invaded Holland, Luxembourg, and Belgium. This way, they could easily bypass the Maginot Line. Then they swept into France from above. So... no, the French didn't start the war.

Well you are looking at the direct or immediate cause of the war but lets go a little back to 1918 when the signed that treaty just have a look at these clauses:

# Article 231 (the "War Guilt Clause") lays sole responsibility for the war on Germany, which is to be accountable for all damage to civilian populations of the Allies.

The total sum of war reparations demanded from Germany—around 226 billion Reichsmarks—was decided by an Inter-Allied Reparations Commission. In 1921, it was reduced to 132 billion Reichsmarks (£4.99 billion)
-source :wikipedia

This was during the hyperinflation ,So my freind we must always look at the economic reasons of war

Re: What are some of your most controversial opinions?

True, the French did do that. But it was still Hitler who built up the whole army/navy/Luftwaffe and invaded Europe. And don't even think of saying something like "he had the right". He also killed over 6 million Jews/political prisoners.

The Desert Fox Wrote:True, the French did do that. But it was still Hitler who built up the whole army/navy/Luftwaffe and invaded Europe. And don't even think of saying something like "he had the right". He also killed over 6 million Jews/political prisoners.

yes shitler (he screwed the war ) built it but it created jobs and he was diverting production to build a war economy by 1944 they would be fully mechanized but his lunatic mind had other plans .
