So, question is: Multiply out and simplify

(3+root2)(3-2root2)

There would be a - and a + 3root2 so they would cancel out.

So I'm left with 9 - 9root2 (I think, 3 x -2root2 is -9root2 right?)

Also

value of 8^-2/3 (two thirds)

(1/8)^2/3

((1/8)^1/3)^2 = (1/2)^2

= 1/4 amirite?

I think the first one is 13-3*sqrt(2) because sqrt(2)*sqrt(2)=2*2=4 huurrrr

OH WAIT A SECOND I do think the second one = 1/4

but the third one du fock did you do I got 3/8 1/8+1/4 = 1/8 + 2/8 = 3/8
