spam would probably be a problem, as mentioned above. Same with trolling, maybe. I just get the feeling there'd be some pain-in-the-ass mess to clean up every now and then. Obviously registering won't magically make all that disappear...but it seems like that sort of nonsense would be a lot easier to create with letting guests post.
