I've often thought about asking Soul to delete me. Something about it seems wrong though, it's as if I'm not ready to let go of the boy I was nearly a decade ago; predictably typing, "I hate school" in a school libraries internet explorer browser.

I don't delete people. It's too messy, and they almost always try to come back again anyway. Razz

Vatman, I do find it impressive how you always manage to worm out some sort of existential meaning in nearly everything. Even here with just a single character. However, I wouldn't recommend asking our hand-printed overlord to delete you, as even if you're a far shake from whom you used to be, wiping away the remnants would simply be wasteful. Use them to your advantage somehow, pal.

Could someone delete my existence?

At least delete threads? Half of my old ones are very cringe-worthy.

Why do you want to? I usually find myself regretting decisions like that, or rethinking them, if I was smart and slept on it. Turns out I value my little chunk of internet history more than satisfying the occasional mini-paranoia or desire for a clean break or whatever weird reason I came up with. Sometimes I only realize it after I've blown a piece of it away. I mean, the internet is srs bsns, rite? But that's why I just chill now and let it be.

Personally I enjoy reading back on things I've posted.. it's nice to reflect on how far I've come or something

I'm always amazed at how much I've changed in the last decade.

Delete your own posts if they bother you so much.

If the power were in my hands I would probably have long ago flipped the switch. Alas Soul's red hand is in the way, even with a full nights rest I regret much of it. The little careless bits of advise I gave away on a whim, the friendships I made and lost in all-night chatrooms and subsequently weary days in highschool. I was a member of other message boards before SS - luckily they predate modern social media and they have long since been erased and forgotten.

This place is likely the last place you can glimpse into 16 year old Vatman, he was a very certain fellow. He called Aristotle "indigent" and thought Youtube was a fad that would pass away when people got tired of watching others get hit in the groin with a football.

I remember the days youtube was just that thing some folk who knew how to use a computer knew about. Back when youtube comments were relavant to the video, Machinima didn't suck balls, and there weren't many of that crazy conspiracy theory shit.

Didn't take long for it to become the primary source of video sharing.

Fuck me, machinima was an actual art form back in the day.
